Well, it's different. The Bible is supposedly the word of God. Now, if God is real and the Bible is his book, it wouldn't make sense to pick and choose. If the Bible is the word of God, you should believe all of it. If you think parts of it are metaphorical, then why believe any of it is literal?
As for Satanism, since there is no "divine" origins, it makes sense than humans are going to have different interpretations on how to worship themselves, which is all Satanism is.

I've read quite a bit about Nikolas Schreck and Boyd Rice and they both believe in Totalitarianism, world domination, social darwinism, mind control and other things. Well, it's different. The Bible is supposedly the word of God. Now, if God is real and the Bible is his book, it wouldn't make sense to pick and choose. If the Bible is the word of God, you should believe all of it. If you think parts of it are metaphorical, then why believe any of it is literal?
As for Satanism, since there is no "divine" origins, it makes sense than humans are going to have different interpretations on how to worship themselves, which is all Satanism is.
