@Taramariemoon According to Charles Haanel, the role of the conscious mind is to direct the non-conscious mind, but the real operation of the Law of Attraction is in the non-conscious mind. That is why many people attract "bad" things... because they really don't have the right intention in the conscious mind.

The Buddha taught pretty much most of this 2500 years ago. But, he also mentioned that "rights and rituals" do not bring happiness -the result of "attraction." The Buddha mentioned that we need to constantly be mindful of our intentions and actions! When mindfulness has been mastered, we "enter into the stream" the First Stage of Enlightenment, and we cannot EVER return to the mundane way of living -Nirvana is the final "destination" -no more than 7 life-times...

Haanel is not the source. The source is Carlos Castaneda who was the very first to define the use of Intention in modern literature, and then stolen by every new age guru from Dryer to Deep Pockets. Castaneda's source were the Toltec sorcerers from 10,000 yrs ago.

@xwaystranger I agree that Carlos Casteneda covered the topic of intention and that many esoteric practices from antiquity also emphasize the importance of intention. However, Haanel dates to 1913, way before Casteneda. I believe he also coined the phrase "Law of Attraction" and there is a clear line between his teachings and the movie The Secret. The important thing, though, is that intention is critical. Thanks for your comment

As a kid I used to pretend to put on and off an invisible mask that I would wear to behave in each place: I intend to be a focused student inside the classroom and a social fox in the break time... it's silly because I was 10/11 but now that I though of it (because of your video) it made me realize how great that was for that age...

why does the aura have to be involved with chakras? every material body with an electric charge puts off a magnetic field. maybe a human being's ability to tap into it is completely physical and natural.

The phenomena that seems to be observed by a lot of different people is that there is a link between chakras and aura. I don't think an explanation in a "scientific" sense really exists. Perhaps you are right about a natural human ability to tap into electric fields. Although I suspect the fields are not purely electromagnetic. I'd like to hear more of your ideas.

Well I don't have any extensive

background in this area and won't

claim to, but people who can't see don't

see auras around people. If it had to do

with a third eye, wouldn't blind people

be able to see it?

Not everyone sees auras in the visual sense. Some "sense" auras, others feel auras, almost like the sense of touch. A lot more needs to be done to figure this out. Yes, blind people can definitely be aware of auras. I have met very perceptive people who are visually impaired.
