I remember taking this flight back in 1970 as we left Vietnam. That was one happy flight with American Airlines. I remember our flight attendants wearing vests just covered with different pins from units. I t was sad when we arrived in California and were told to remove our uniforms before leaving the base for the safety of the local population. (Two marines had been spit on the week before and reacted by killing one of the spitters). I am glad to see that has all changed.
