Diablo 2 -Build 2 Concentrate barb

my barbarian is level 80. concentrate/berserk/ww. i use fortitude, howltusk (arreats for pvp) 1 angelic ring and ammy 1 ravenfrost, perfect phoenix, perfect greif colossus blade, eth breath of the dying and SS for my switch. i do 14-19K damage with concentrate with phoenix greif and 9-11K with my SS and ebotdcb.

2 handed weap conc barb would be much better for more damage output since they have low ias. A 1 handed weap concer would suck no offense to this video or anything but barbs rely on good amounts of damage from weapon to kill enemies because the skills do not provide much dmg for barbs. Its just a good point that's all.

@MISTofDAN blocking is very more important then damage and here is an easy way to prove this theory:

have one barb use a eth warpike ebotd + full setup and another use eth zerk botd + ss/max block

now have them attack once then the other attack once, continue until one dies, the one who can block will easily win the duel. same for pvm and saves a ton of hp and adds dr/defense

@Unguidedone In pvp of course you need a shield 75% block 50% dr setup in that case. But pvm its not big deal at all. If you consider doing 8 pp games you need tons of raw damage and massive cb to kill monsters fast in that case. Example of gear for 8 pp pvm'ing would be guillis, hlords, ebotdgp, edeath decap, etc. Damage is the only way you would kill such monsters fast and effectly. Just get a eth reapers merc, get good ll, and mass damage and you are all set.

what speaks against an ettin axe and for a berserker axe? im wonderin.. cause everyone has berserker axes for those runewords.. is it only the higher range?

@2ndsB4 the range 3 yards damage is higher and does not require so much dex and can be up to 6 socket vs ettin axe's 5

Whats open wounds good on a weapon u dont swing? And no point in WW? Its best for fast killin minions instead of hittin them one after another. Death is good but Grief in pb is No.1 And CoA... Best melee helmet is Guilly with 35%cb 15 deadly strike FHR just for 27%BP and str socket with um. Conc barb is defensive enough with storm dont need dr from CoA and belt verdungo? Upped String of Ears far better with 8%life leach and 15%DR. Verdungo is good on berserk where u dont use leech.

@psi915 i cant stop you from making one but even with there really high defense raiting and high attack raiting they can only attack one monster at a time makes it sort of a ineffective pvm character and really bad pvp unless its lld pvp then they really do great. but what makes a great pvm character is crowd control+ damage(more then one from of damage) + survivability.

SS is a great shield to use. For the weap tho I would use a botd on a colossus. all about that ias.

true but if u synergize concentrate wit bash and bo and put some pts into str most monsters die 1-2 hits and uniques take 3-4 .... very fun if u have a pt into incr speed and use a grief pb cuz u just run around tanking and killin each monster wit 1-2 hits

groups are fun cuz u can just walk straight in the middle and block the shit out of everything and just start decimating them

oh my geez i remade my wwind barb into concentrate and this is the best pvm build by far (except ubers cuz smiters are still godly) my barb will never die. not an exaggeration. this build is invincible pvm so sry but ur wrong and need to remake this vid b4 u discourage more ppl frm this build and ur gear is not best for concentrate same wit ur skill build

you can always swap in grief or last wish both work fine. the reason i dont like concentrate barbs is because you can only attack one monster at a time while ww you cut threw them. there is a reason why you dont see many concentrate barbs that much and thats pretty much the biggest.

that is because your damage screen lies..... grief is the most powerful one handed weapon in the game and the +damage is not pvp reduced

With those items even a melee Necro can do Hell.

This build has a potential of extremely goog crowd control with the combination of Howl/Taunt. 22K is not bad. Paladins can do 72K with charge. Both are overkill in single player mode.

Build 150ias, 35k+ def, 6k+ life, 75% block, 75% damage reduce, 100% deadly, 8-9k damage and 60% CB this is actually possible a really powerfull build.

I have made on bnet to test how well it can do ubers and it did do a smouth uber but even with that in mind it lacked crowd control and damage. but this is a very good hc build because of high defensive/damage and you attack once at a time (no iron madien kills)

Dooing bosses and Ubers i use Laying of Hands gloves they are really powerfull against bosses (they are all demons) just died of Iron maden dooing baal runs alone. So when the new patch comes i make new Concentrate barbar. Account = Nidhug (Europe HC)

One hit when IM on and you are gone. The attack is uninterruptible and when crowded it's easy to click on a monster.

well, in you other videos you told to use death and grief, i mean the crushing blow is a good point, but botd has high ll and realy high speed.

your damage screen lies think of it in the zealer pally set up :

a charger with ebotd zerker has 10k charge damage (all damage is physical)

he only does 10k physcal with open wound damage of 2k over 8 seconds

the pally with eth death zerk does 10k damage but had deadly strike that adds 10k more damage cb is 1/8 of max hp pvp and that is calcualted last based on % of total

open wound damage is calcuated 2k over 8 seconds @ lvl 90 listed damage =10k damage real damage on strikeing is 22k

so ebotd only does 10k charge damage and applys no damage mods it is ok pvm but it is only as is damage and is over all not very useful.  You will understand in time that damage is not everything but its 1/3 damage 2/3 speed also throw in multiple sources of damage and you have a char that can hit faster then you and every hit that lands do double your damage. That is a char worth using on bnet
