  • Great interview......a very humble guy.......and a true genius!

  • I respect Joe Alves for directed Jaws 3 I thought he did great directing the movie.

  • is it just me or is this guy a proper nice dude its as if he loves chatting about it ..what a great guy and both of theses steven speilbergs films are awsome

  • @SCOTTHQ I had the honour of speaking to Joe on the Phone for 30 mins last year while on Martha's Vineyard for our once in a life time holiday, he was indeed a very very nice man and more than willing to talk all about Jaws & Jaws 3D. I was stunned when I got the call and it was all down to a great friend.

  • Great interview. Alves is a really cool guy. As a film/tv location scout for the last 15 years in Vancouver BC, I enjoyed hearing about how they picked the locations. I was also reminded of just how powerful the film was when it first came out. Nice touch putting yourself onto the tv screen at the end.

    Good job, Herve.

  • Fun to watch, Thanks.

  • The houses weren't to be set in Ohio. It was Muncie, Indiana.

  • Finally, Close Encounters as an Attia production. Looking forward to it.

  • Great movie... Great video... Thanks again...

  • Très belle interview, comme d'habitude.

Très intéressant et très bien réalisé.

Un grand bravo, on attend les prochaines vidéos avec impatience.

  • Very good video Herve !

J'ai un probleme avec le son cependant. je ne l'entend que du cote droit de mes enceintes.

  • Nice interview Herve! Can't wait to see your video!

  • Great job Herve! I've been to Devil's Tower myself and it's an amazing sight to behold, don't you think? I also heard a story that after Alves found the Tower, they checked the latitude and longitude in the script, and coincidentally, it matched almost exactly, even though Spielberg had never seen or known about Devil's Tower before (the script referred to an unspecified mountain). Spooky huh? (Even if it is a made up story, it's a good one!)

  • Cool interview. I had drove by Devils tower a few times.
