  • @Rowen170 Perhaps you were being humorous, but it was 85 degrees and we were constantly giving the dog water. Dogs breathe out of their mouths to release heat because they cannot sweat like we do. Rest assured, I treat that dog better than you probably treat your own family.

  • Geeez, ,, give the dog some water,,,

  • @13johm Yep, yer right. This video was done before I ever read the instructions. I saw it done on TV and figured instructions BAH!! Slight slant upwards to start and for Xmas sake, make sure to wear a harness!!!!! Thanks for the comments and all the views (over 10,000 holy crap!)

  • he needs to adjust the bottom its too stanted.

  • nothing like a good woman to put some common sense into a man's brain when it comes to safety.

  • @fotograh Not the first time she's pointed out my intellectual shortcomings believe you me!!

  • I like the bar on the front so you can hang your ass over the treestand to take shits during the hunt

  • @Outdoorsurvivalist94 you really trying to get the laughs with this comment huh. your posting it under every tree stand vid. maybe one of these times people will start biting on it. good luck!

  • you might wanna tighten the bottom half of your stand a bit more .. the trees gettin skinnyer as you go up so you want to have that pointing slightly up that way when you get out there your stan evens out.

  • @indianaMAN321 Yep, I learned that the hard way. This video is before i read any instructions, watched the video, etc. Lucky I didn't kill myself. But, I'm loving the stand now.

  • how is it weight wise when your carying it and think im 15 sooo

  • @nicdrums56 I would guess it's about 20 to 25 pounds. I hiked it a 1/2 mile once to a stand site. I'll admit, not the easiest thing to do with a bow and a backpack too. But, it's the price we pay to get the best hunting sites. Go where other folks won't!!! :)

  • yes this one has the spike. but very good suggestion with directions. Always begin with instructions.

  • @ryanrgrnt I was so anxious that I went right to the woods. I saw a demonstration on youtube once and immediately thought i was an expert. Boy was I wrong! Now that I know proper use/safety, I'm really loving it.

  • i have the wolverine, similar to this one but the seat is mesh. love it.

  • @teddydc2 Archery opener this weekend. Training my dog on state ground yesterday, popped up a nice sized 8 pointer. Believe you me, I'll be back to that same ground with my climber!!

  • I just got this stand also, it climbs nice, and you want to angle it up as much as you can both the seat and platform like you said they will level out, also your seat will rest a litttle nicer slightly tilted back. I bought some camo bungies to hold it all together a little better for back backing (as I didnt realise the long straps were for that, and the seat pad protects your back when they are bound together)

  • @promark1nine Thanks for the reply. I am pretty happy with mine too. Good luck this hunting season!!

  • No not teeth .. "Screws"....Not the spaded kind. "Screws"

  • No screws. There is a pull strap you use at hunting height. That pretty much locks you in once you are at hunting height. I sat in it last night scouting for 3 hours. You can stand up etc and feel pretty safe. I had now worries. The bottom of each piece has teeth and the top has a cable that goes around the tree.

  • @amigopheasantkiller Where are you out of??? dont get me wrong its a killer stand ...my uncle just gave me his stand with the screws this thing will not budge ice snow etc on the tree its awesome.... in my part i been tracking a 20 pointer on my trail cam when i get him i will post you the video and pics etc....

  • @dudeilove Only my 2nd year hunting. Where I'm from you are not supposed to use screws on state ground. Also, you cannot leave a stand overnight on public lands, so I really wanted to get a portable becuz I've seen so many deer while pheasant hunting on those same lands. 20 POINTS!?!?! I wouldn't even be able to draw the bow cuz I'd be unconscious. BTW there are MUCH better stands than this one, I bought it cuz it was relatively cheap.

  • @dudeilove yeah 20 pointer.. good stand though .. and wow your state is kinda stingy with the way they let you hunt but as i can tell from the area where you are with your stand in the video looks like great deer country.

  • Hey does this stand have spikes in it so it doesnt slip down the tree??? if not do you know who makes it ???? Because my uncle has a climber with spikes in it so it doesnt slip...

  • @dudeilove Yep. It does have "teeth". I am doing a lot of things wrong here. I read the instructions later like a typical guy. Initially the platform should slant upwards a tad and then as the tree gets skinnier as you go up it levels out. Things like that. Make sure you read the instructions first. Also, it comes with a securing strap to use once you reach your hunting height, another thing I missed. Very much look forward to hunting with it!!!!!
