  • This Is The Part Of Elvis On Tour

The First Song He Sings, That We Dont See

    Many Thanks For This Post

  • Elvis had a hell of a cold when he had just got back to live performing in Vegas in '69. If you listen to audios of it, you could hear him sniffing a lot. This is a tough song to sing. I think he should've lowered the key.

  • If I am not mistaken, and not too late responding, but isn't this the actual recording session for "Johnny B. Goode"? The version heard at the beginning of Elvis On Tour...

  • BRILLIANT

  • Great video but did he have a cold. His voice souded a little husky.

  • @haileyalexis709 well at that time he was doing certain medications like demerol so it makes him slur like at 0:18

  • @OfficialRobbieMason This isn't slurred. This is his voice as if he was having trouble singing.

  • @haileyalexis709 I wouldnt say that cause he sang every note. trust me this is why people like me love the 1968- 1970 years cause he wasnt wearing himself out with drugs and 2 shows a night.

  • @OfficialRobbieMason Ok. Thx.

  • @haileyalexis709 Sure he might. Elvis got some really bad colds at times. He was prone to them throughout his life...actually he made himself sick a lot early his career touring all over the South and getting almost no sleep. However I've never heard him sounding sick...even here...he sounds great to me. Sometimes the voice just needs to warm up....I mean these are rehearsals after all...he's not giving it everything he's got. Also it's very relaxed so no big deal to mess up words etc.

  • Great Clearance!! thank you
