Well along the lines of you playing guitar, there are simply two kinds of people (for the most part...1: people who do it for joy (who should not give a shit what people think, it is a hobby.) 2: Music is a profession: people who make it their lives duty egress. Bands, such as Absurd, who have the ambition to make a martet for themselves, should also have the ambition to egress as they do to feel acheived.

Obviously if you're that smart enough to realize that Absurd is heavily influenced by punk.I know Absurd isn't the best band in this world,I have heard much better then them,but I grew up on punk music and metal.So its ok that Ankeneton from Judas Iscariot is a complete nazi,and many people know about it and think well thats ok he can be a nazi since he releases shitty albums after thy dying light,but when Absurd has a belief lets shit on them for believing what is right in their view.

I don't know if you play an instrument, but allow me to tell you, all really talented musicians never limit themselves. They constantly desire a diffrent sound, evolving, into this eclectic master of manipulating sounds. Bands like this die out fast, I don't mean within 15 or 20 years, I mean in 60 years. They are not innovative, they are repeatative, unbalanced and talentless because they don't do anything, not atmosphere...just shitty leads, once you mature you will agree with what I am saying

lets pretend we both hate music and we are only looking at facts. Just because these guys stay in 4/4 does not make them bad, just makes them common, they hang onto the same progression for ever. The drummer has very weak fills, dynamics make no sense, the phrasing is absolutley horrible. All great musicians know all music says something, how the fuck does playing the same thing with instruments equal volume (even on record) saying something!! It is like painting everything white!!!!!

Opeht is also much heavier and darker than these guys, so I don't know what you mean about it "being for girls". Also, music such as Opeth, respects thgeir classical and jazz roots (in which even garbage like this descends from) which unbridles their fans from the Billy Evans Trio, to Chopin and even Dvorak! This band is not inspiring at all for that they believe in, regardless of my opinion, they are hiprocrits. Belive in eradicating all worthlessness from the worlds, what are they?

Well, the diffrence between you and I is that I eradicate personal opinion, I am watching at what they are actually doing. Sounds terrible, I am big fan of black metal and I respect the raw sound, this is just shit. Has this band heard of a time signature other than 4/4 ? Have they ever modulated before ? Do they ever change that fucking lame ass pop song chord progression? Is that a guitar lead or is that some asshole who needs to practice his scales? That drummer is fucking awful...check out Mike Portnoy or martin Axenrot or something.
