  • I thought my set was pretty big..

  • damn pretty good man. im impressed. :)

  • do you have enough cymbals and drums? i can only imagine how many peddles you have

  • I've been doing this with only singles. But It's cool in paradiddle form!

  • damn! thats one hell of a drum kit set up. if you take it and set it up somewhere else it must only take infinity hours to set it up again

  • Wack it with your left u must to build stamina you will (mini hint) live long and prosper

  • also you could do that with just RLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRLRL....... if you use your left arm as well as the right on the toms..

  • paradiddle concept is easy, the problem is,when i start speeding it up,i loose control and get clumsy,or sometimes I turn it into a single stroke roll or somethin like that...but i'm gradually getting a bit ,tiny bit, faster everyday though and less clumsier as well.

  • How long have you been playing drums?

  • very useful fill thank you but I am expecting to see more videos like this

  • Nice kit! Personally, id never fund a use for that many toms or cymbals, but still that looks awesome! I already knew this fill, but this is still a very good video as well :)

  • VERY AWESOME!!

  • You're Awesome.

  • cool!

  • How do you reach that cymbal way in the corner of your room???

  • @slimjimn13 I guess he's only using it for the last note in solos and then throwing a stick towards it ;D

  • superb!

  • seems pretty simple, im gonna have to practice this and incorporate it. very good

  • 26 people watched this video and felt intimidated. :P

  • THAT ACTUALLY JUST BLEW MY WHOLE MIND LOL

  • im so gonna try that fill out

  • nice private lessons on skype great idea man and killer fill especialy full speed dude

  • You have cool drums. :)

  • try paradiddle-diddles with the first to hits on the 2nd(10 inch) and 4th(14 inch) tom... its pretty sick as well

  • 2:52 You can use it in many different styles like: rock, and fast rock.

  • it works for me, thanks!

  • OK NOW THATS BADASS!!! AND THATS A BEUTIFUL KIT

  • @saajingrey Get in line! lol

  • At 2:43 when he hit the floor tom on 3 - what was that that fell from the top?

  • great vid. love to try this sometime. when you sped it up at the end using the ride it sounded like a type of music called "drum and bass music". Im not saying thats what your goin for but it could be used in that type of music. Cheers and happy holidays.

  • Excellent! You should call that the "Happy Trails" fill! Heh

  • nice kit

  • O.O MONSTER KIT

  • what kind of drumset is that

  • @sacatreez A huge one.

  • awesome kit

  • :41 what kind of paradiddle does he say?

  • @ZackPomerleau

    Permutated paradiddle

  • DAT KIT

  • excellent..

it is like magic, but revealed jahjaha!

  • great demonstration, thanks!

  • You need a bigger set. There is sill some blank space in the frame.

  • YOUR DRUM SET IS SO SEXY O.O

  • Ha! Pretty cool! When you play fast it seems so difficult and confusing, but when you slow it down, it seems so much easy and creative! But I still have some problems to incorporate Paradiddle Fills in the songs. But I will keep practcing. Thans a lot again, and nice kit!

  • @aurodrummer Practice it with metronome at different tempos. Add your kick drum on 1234 and progresively change the kick by remove it or adding more beat to it. I think it's important that you do it very slow first. Next thing you know you can do any it with any kick pattern

  • Damn great: the video, the fill, the drumset.

  • at last he played power puff girls song :))

  • lol i subscribedddddddd

  • thats pretty cool, so its contious paradiddles with the single right handed strokes always on the toms and cymbals.

  • What cymbal is that at 4:00?

  • I've learnt single and double paradiddle for long, but I just never manage to fit it in the songs nicely, and now I know how to fit it in. thanks!

  • bien

  • great and very useful!

  • lol mike says its not your every day fill, well if you like playing Neil Peart style stuff there you have it :)

  • man you are fast!

  • thanks a lot for making this video

it helped me a lot, i recently started to play drums and starting to see paradiddle and your video it made things easier. I was able to do this fill, slower obviously but i did it thanks to you from Argentina!

  • thank you boss..

  • goodwork!

  • I think you need more drums

  • Tru dat!

  • very cool!

  • very cool!

  • that's really practical plus simple, thanks a lot man

  • Ohhh I'm sooo bustin this out at tomorrow's band practice. Thanks! I like how you broke it down into little pieces. You made it very understandable! I'm so stoked to play this fill!

  • how do you even reach the top right electric cymbal?!

  • thats all you have on your drum set... mines like twice as big as that. i use all the drums for my paradiddles

  • Very nice! Thanks you for explaining it in such a clear manner. I'm using this fill all the time now thanks!

  • so nice man ...

  • Something I will never be able to do.

  • i love that word; paradiddle - and it's an onomatopoeia! I've never noticed that before ^^.

  • most drum rudiments are...like a triplet...tri-p-let lol just gotta be imaginative :)

  • most names of rudiments are onomatopoeia

  • @JonathanShrader wow i didnt know that

  • could you teach me the last beat?

    sounds great anyway...

  • thanks! this helped me. I've been trying to learn ways to move paradiddles around the kit, but nothing really sounds that appealing to me. I think it's prolly cause i'm not at the speed that you're at (in the beggining) yet =/ ...lol cause I'm pretty sure I've came up with this same pattern at one point..

  • ty helped loads tha was awsome

  • AWESOME!!

  • really enjoyed this video

  • nice video man .. keep it up =]

  • it souds kewl, but im not takin the time to listen, its 2 confusin

  • This is a great paradiddle application! I'm gonna start practicing it today. Thanks for sharing it.

  • If only Keith Moon lived to see this drumset. He would have been in heaven and I bet he'd damn sure think twice about trashing it.

  • keith would still trash it, because he would probaly get another one for free after it, haha

  • My favorite rudimente is paradiddle, this is helpful! I really need to get the drums you play! can you get me the me the info for what toms you use, inches and brands and such?

  • ur drum kits awesome!! id love to see you do a cover of a song

  • Excellent job of breaking it down, man,, Thanks.

  • Excellent job of breaking it down and explaining it in understandable terms.

  • Nice man! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks loads, i watched this vid and picked it up over a night! You rock at drummig. If you can make any more tutorial vids that would be great. I'm only 13 and you tought the paradiddle thing well. Thankyou.

  • every single R is a tom accent.

  • yeah basically

  • thanx man ..nice lick and nice kit....u are as good as the freedrumlessons.......thanx again

  • you fucking rule

  • I learned that fill from your video and played it on a song with my metalband, and they really liked it! It's going to be on one of our new songs;)

  • So simple but so awsome.

  • paradiddles are awesome, umm i saw avid of you playing yyz solo an u did a part done on the glok but you did it on your toms how did you do that

  • That sounds cool! Great way of explaining it. Its crazy how something so basic as a paradiddle can be something that sounds completely different! great job!

  • Awesome lick man! a nice addition to my bank of licks! lol.

  • wow, great kit and technique!

  • ever play paradiddles as triplets? this would be cool too...

but it always screws up the band! lol!

    nice lick!

    tnanks for posting

  • I WAS JUST THINKING OF THAT!

just to practice write them out with the accents on the beat. Start slowly, build it up until it's clean. You won't be able to use it often though, maybe your not using it in the right context, and that's why it screws up the band, but i dunno...

  • very usefull!! thanks!!
