This is a thing of beauty. I have played this one over and over and had to subscribe just so I could leave this comment. And I just lucked into it while bidding on congas on ebay. I understand what they are doing and I can play along with this and keep up ok. I just don't have the licks that they are doing in my library of tricks but some will get digested into my brain the more I watch it. Thank you to the rhythm traders for making it available. We here agree. It is a thing of beauty. These guys are both incredible. We were lucky to have Luis in town for the clinic. Carmelo is the son of Conga legend Bobby Torres (Joe Cocker, Tom Jones, Oregon Musicians Hall of Fame Member). and was taking a break from his conga chair with Los Lonely Boys. Studying this video will keep you out of troble for a long time!!! Good Luck!!!

You're lucky. Luis was stuck here in Portland for about 3 days as the airport was closed and no trains, busses, or cars available. .. But.. he says he wants to move here. That would the shot. PS, we're talking to him about coming back up in October, so stay in touch, ok?
