"Ever since I laid eyes on that house, I wanted it!" LOL...you forgot to mention that that is the church he hides out at/meets old man marley in too!!
I went by that house in 1998 while visiting a friend from Evanston. As a resident of the state (but currently not residing there) I appreciate you not saying Illi-noise.
sooooo lucky :( im 24 an i still watch home alone 1 an 2 evry xmas. fuck home alone 3 an 4 that shit shud never of bin attempted. but thanks for video. my friend went to the mrs doubtfire house in sanfransisco but this offiicially tops that!! so so lucky
i have been to the house once before with my ex girlfreind....she was a bit disturbed when i was paying more attention to the house and not her.....I LOVE that movie and am in love with this girl that is doing this tour.......please get in touch with me..my name is matt zinn....i will buy this house someday.......THIS IS MY HOUSE AND I HAVE TO PROTECT IT
I wish girls like you would do so much effort to find my house in holland haha, ..anyway I was checking The Breakfast Club movie locations, but there is not many to be found, or they are very short. Maybe you could do a nice tour of those locations and buildings. It's not far from there, Des Plaines and Northbrook. Maybe I can visit those myself in the future, but it would be great if you locals would film it more for us oversea fans of those 80-ies movies by Hughes. Nice movie pretty lady.
I live like... 3 blocks away? Yet I never pass it... only cuz its on a side street. I love how if you pause it at the right times you can see New Trier signs!! (High School) :D
your so lucky i wish i could go there the house still looks beautiful there's just one thing that i always wanted to see and thats the back of the house i really wanna see what that looks like now.
lol small? I live in an apartment complex and there are 4 different units(2 story) and it's as big as that, if not a little bigger. I could only imagine what other houses you are talking about that are bigger.
And that has to be the most popular house in the whole Chicago Metro..
haha thanks for the comments! I really just uploaded this to show my family so funny that others saw it too - internet is funny like that. I did go just to find the house! And I gotta say I had a lot of fun doing it! Very cool to see it in real life, I recommend! That is the church right there too at the end of the video, I just didn't realize it at that moment.
Nice...but....no...., that is not the church that was used in the movie. The real church exterior that was used in the movie is located at 1024 west lake ave, wilmette IL
actually it is one of the two churches used in the film. that church in particular was used for the nativity scene where he was running from harry and marv
Did you go to Winnetka just to see the house?? I've been thinking about doing that and it would make me extremely happy to know that there was someone else who liked the movie enough to do that!! :-)
PS thanks for all the nice things people are saying.
