  • And yet again, the chorus backing vocals and axe licks by the god like Buck Dharma shows why he's better then everyone and everyhting. Surely he's part alien?

  • @gretzinabluehat believe me, I got a bit upset that Donald Roeser was not in the recently published Rolling Stone magazine's 100 greatest guitarists of all time! But, of course, a Corporate Jew magazine which Rolling Stone has become: it rates guitarists by how many units they sold, not about their artistic talent like Buck has always had big time!

  • epic

  • I was lucky enough to see BOC do this one at a show in Chicago.

They did not play it often live so that was pretty rare.

Saw them at least a dozen times live in the 70's and 80's

  • It's nice to see no dislikes yet.

  • I'm a longtime BOC fan but this is the first time I've bothered to listen to this album. I'm feelin' it, but this song specifically kinda reminds me of "Transverse City" by Warren Devon...

  • I have every album from Blue Oyster Cult. Never heard of this song. There iis another on the sound track from them called " DEMONS KISS". I'll have to see if it is on youtube as well

  • trememdous! as per...

  • Jesus, this RULES

  • First time I've ever heard this BOC song. Wow. I've loved them since 1980. Wow.

I know every song in their catalogue except ...... wowba bowba.

  • I'm trying to program this guitar sound to my multieffect guitarpedal. is there a slight chorus on that guitar sound? I think it can be heard in 1:36

  • some retard who kicked a grocery store windows to pieces has more views than this. Yes.. it is easier to destroy than create. Remember that sentence. Destroy - Create. What path will you take. Don't take the path that the weak ones choose. Get your guitar and play some cool rock n roll like B.O.C. And make your own songs too. Create a universe, create a little movies with lyrics and guitar.

  • ITS "forgive me if I smile BITTERLY".... ugh..

  • @HallPassExpired mmmm no its not

  • I saw this album in a record store in Barcelona. Should have bought it.

  • the movie seem to suck but this song is great

  • This is such a bad ass song.... 5/5

  • This is so awesome. Can you upload the other Blue Oyster Cult songs from that album? I can't believe there is another album!

  • Wow, thanks for uploading this!

  • never heard this one, but now I have. There will be plenty more of this in the future.

  • Another song written by John Shirley, famous Sci Fi/Horror novelist and lead man of punk band Panther Moderns.

  • This song is even more relevant today more than ever. Listen up

  • I first heards this song "demo'd" during live shows, as well as "Harvest Moon." I bought all the cassette bootlegs I could find of any B.O.C. show, so in short order I had lyrics and songs memorized. Swear to God it made Buck lose his place one night in Virginia Beach when he saw me stage left singing every word of Harvest Moon about 3 YEARS before it was released!... This song was a fave of mine too, glad it finally found an album. This album, believe it or not, ROCKS,even the 13-econd tracks

  • yeah thats when they seriously heavied up a bit... i still dont consider them metal... theyve done too many other genres for me to count them as metal...

  • @Irish0400 BÖC is its own category, mixed with hardcore rocknroll, R&B, Pyscodellic, heavy metal, pop, they have everything.

  • @Bojoe777NaBl You hit it on the head, you are exactly right. BOC was the definition of heavy metal in the 70s. But they are much more, they are so eclectic and talented that they really are their own genre of music. That is the beauty of BOC, you almost don't need any other music because they are so versatile and cover such a wide spectrum of music.

  • @garandguy000 i just seriously cannot believe that songs like the red n black, flaming telepaths, mistress of the salmon salt, I could easily list over 10 more BOC songs that kick other bands songs's ass's that are played over and over and over on the radio again and again.. how bout instead of playing cities on flame, burning for u, reaper, goin, through the motions or once in a blue moon they play death valley nights... BÖC got boned they should have been uber popular, really makes you wonder

  • @Durandal1717 only ppl who say that BOC aint metal have only listened to Mirrors, Spectres, Club ninja, and have only heard songs like Dont fear the Reaper, Burning for you... ect...

  • Cool sound track, but I am thinking only about three people saw the movie.

  • wow BOC is already underrated but this song is like hidden in the caves wow wat a great song

    classic BOC

  • My first time hearing it to, this is honestly one of Oyster Cult's epics. I also love Demon's Kiss thanks man

  • This is the first time I've heard this song and it's already one of my favorites. Thanks for posting it!

  • Neverheard,thanksalöt, yippee!

  • solo is beautiful

  • What a gem of a song!! Great lyrics as well, almost prophetic in their sense. Once again, thanks for posting this beauty!!

  • The chorus is classic Blue Oyster Cult...4 ever! Thanks for posting this lost gem.

  • I have this CD but rarely listen to it. It's kind of a forgotten CD in my collection. Thanks for reminding me I have it. Time to dust it off for a while.

  • Sweet.

  • Absolutely awsome I love the heavy melodic and intelligent music of BOC

  • 5 stars - class acts.

  • When Eric Bloom takes the microphone, Beware! The darker, more sinister facets of the BOC personality could be turning into the formerly safe light of day. This song & "Demon's Kiss" are "sneaky" heavy/catchy in that unique Cult manner. They're the unquestioned high points on this wildy uneven & convoluted soundtrack; featuring many needlessly titled "scenario" storyboard muzak companion pieces & an assortment of mostly forgotten, eclectic, never was Bands that benefit from remaining unmentioned.

  • Rare indeed. Thanks yourysavior.
