  • Beautifu *xxxx

  • Just sent this to one of my classes learning dates. Thanks!

    Your fan on FB,

    Chaiya

  • Quite often in fast spoken English the 't' sound turns into a 'd' sound so 'forty' sounds more like 'fordy.'

  • And about sevendi and nindi.

Você tem um sorriso lindo, e um coração fofo.

  • wow you can count!!!

  • great , any childern can learn easily from this vedio

it's so nice to teach numbers

    thank you

  • nice for nice

  • whenever i'm drinking with my friends i ask them what ORDINAL beer they're on and they never know what the hell i'm saying. asking for the ordinal is the technically accurate way of asking this question, which is a very common one at drinking parties. people don't know the word "ordinal" so they ask me what NUMBER beer i'm on, and i always answer with a cardinal number because by default that's what "number" means to me.

  • @habs4life9 however, some slightly more perceptive people may realize that asking for the "number" beer someone is on suggests a cardinal number, which they do not want as an answer, so they try to get around it by asking "what beer are on you, first, second?" fucking retards, it could all be avoided if they just knew the term "ordinal number" but you don't unless you're a linguist.

  • @habs4life9 typo: that example question should be "what beer are you on, first, second?"

  • twelfth is interesting, because it adds an 'f'.

So, forty and eighty are pronounced a little different, right? It's like the sound 'ry'. Am I correct?

  • "twelfth is interesting, because it adds an 'f'." Yes - after removing the V and the e of course.

To exaggerate, 40 is pronounced "for tea" and 80 is prounced "ate tea".

  • oh r you in prep class ?
