This movie is absolutely bullox. An to say that the 80's were corny. I think movies made in the 70's til the 90's definately had class. These days, Holywood has gone totally NUTS!!

It's so bloody lame, predictable & melodramatic. There is no comparison to the 1971 classik. This is absolute SHITE..sorry to say.

I read the book about 6 or 7 years ago. I'm pretty sure this is nothing near the original, although a couple parts seemed familiar like the pilot crashing the plane (something to do with the rubber or plastic being dissolved/destabilized). I think I'll re-read the book rather than watch this. RIP Michael Crichton
