Yes and no, doing any kind of building work like this is going to be hard but if you have an understanding of how to do basic construcition that it is not to hard. For us, the main thing was pushing through the cold weather! :)
It is 50ft. We already had some of the posts and the gait so that cut down on our costs and (thankfully) the lumber yard was having a sale on there wood at the same time that we were looking to purchase some, so that also majorly cut down on how much it cost us to make it! So ... all in all ... it cost right around $335.
