What I really like about your arrangements is that you include so much more than just the chords, bass and melody - you always include the little instrumental parts, harmonies, intros, endings, and sounds that make the originals so unforgettable. Great job!
You rock, I just got a second hand acoustic, got it stringed, and tuned...the best it can be, anyway. Problem is, I've no idea what I'm doing =) I'm starting late, I'm almost thirty but, it's something I'd like to at least be competent at and I grew up listening to the Beatles from my parents. Where do I start...short of saying screw it!
I started playing guitar about a year and a month ago I'm 15 now, and I practice regularly. I hope I'll be able to play pretty epic guitar by the time I'm about 20, or mid 20s-ish.
@GouledXD Well, keep it up! I heard 15 yr olds that can blow me away, and I've been playing almost 30 years now. But that's not the point. The point is for you to love it and enjoy playing. Don't try to impress anyone...impress yourself - be your own critic. Work on the basics 'til your fingers bleed. And don't get discouraged if you can't do something others can. Have fun with it, that's the real idea here.
You should do Americas Got Talent. TV show. That way you will get broadly seen, and I am sure there are people that could help you produce a product and help you get permission from the artists kind of thing. You really need to go commercail. Send them a video, what would it hurt?
Did you arrange that yourself? This video makes me want to fix up my nylon string. Although your cutaway body certainly helps with those higher parts...
Sir, that is beautiful. I've been trying to watch closely and pick up what you're doing, but I'm going slightly mental with the pause button. Good job, buddy.
Wow what a phenomenal performance. You certainly climbed that whole neck, too. I was thinking during a past piece that your guitar is a cut away classical, but clearly you need it. It's a pain in the butt to chord even up to the 13th fret on my Eterna.
Damn, these (for a lack of a better word) expert guitar skills are what blows me away the most! such precise finger picking, and those crazy wide spread classical chords are just incredible to see. I have been playing for about ten years now and i just barely started trying to pick up classical style and it aint no walk in the park. You Amaze me Sir troubleclef, You truly are an inspiration!
I was wondering if you could tell me how you come up with arrangements? What I mean is do you work with the chords or do you work out the melody and use what sound like the right bass notes.
I never could get my head around which bass notes go with melody, never mind alternating bass lines, etc.!
ive been watching your videos for months now but just got a youtube account so first i would like to thank you for helping me with my guitar by inspiring me with your music i applaude you and hope u keep doing what your doing
darn, what can I say that hasn't been said before? You play so beautifully and I'm so happy you've shared online so we can all hear you. This has put a huge smile on my face.
AMAZING!!! Stuff like this makes me want to keep practicing guitar that maybe I can be this good. Haven't progressed past the pick but. One of may favourite Beatles songs and I love the Beatles
this is really nice. not to sound precocious at all, but if you play an F chord with the root on the 6th fret of the B string at 2:17 over the "step on the gas" lyric it i think captures George's little move there even better!
I had two watch it twice because all I could hear the first time was my jaw hitting the ground and the clapping and cheering in my head. That was the greatest interpretation of any Beatles song I've ever seen.
Genius doesn't do Mccartney's music justice. It always irritates me when the word 'genius' is too often associated with Lennon. Now Lennon was just great but Mccartney was on a whole universe above Lennon.
