@bobomber its really great, if you learn how to work with it. ive tried it, and you can get so much topspin its like hitting a backwards forehand almost. i usually used a backhand grip like federer, but this works really well too.
@tennisplayer135 yeah the only problem is when you get in the 4.5+ area, you have to worry about the return of serve esp a flat first serve, and positioning on the court where if I stay 3-4 inches behind the baseline like alex people can volley you off easily.
@andyyyvo yeah thats true, and there's always arguements about every grip, and i personally do not usually use this grip, but i think what you are saying is the reason why we don't see this grip too often amongst the pros. Alex plays very well with it, and i think that this proves the grip doesn't matter (of course some grips are just plain stupid), and all that matters is the amount of practice you do to get really good at it. like nadal with a western forehand can return flat serves.
