What kind of BOV are u running on your MR2?

@xxxH22VTECxxx the BOV that I had in that video as a Turbomaster and was leaking boost. I now have a HKS and it's much better.

That's some pretty mean sounding compressor surge(on load). What turbo were you running with what boost to have that problem?

Ok figured as much. I'm not so up on my Japanese models. They're such good value for money though as compared to buying anything for a car that starts with a 'P'! You guys have got it good compared let me tell you. Do you normally race with a club? Get to Eastern Creek?

Yes SW20 is the model number. Like S15 is for a 200SX. Yeah I know 5 seconds will be hard!!!! Oran Park will be gone before I'm ready to drive it again so Sunday was my last chance

I can't see you listed on Natsoft. Didn't they record a time before you did the head gasket?

I'm definitely there. I'm the only MR2. I was in the open class. I did a 1m24.1. I haven't driven on the track for nearly 2 years and am still not comfortable with the power the car has so need more track time to get my confidence and aggression levels up so I can get my times down. I reckon the car can do a 1m19s

Yeah I was in 18 in the little Grey Porsche 944turbo. I was slower than previous best time finishing with 1.22 Had a good day nonetheless.

Although I think road cars with radio, a/c, full upholstery etc shouldn't be competing against trailer full race cars, but that's just me :) hahah

Ohh, bummer! looked like you were going pretty well up to that point. What sort of times were you doing? The car looks very well balanced and also very stable. It seems to ride over that turn / crash-bump before the bridge very easily. Much more so than my car.

How much does your car weigh? Was it the Red one in Garage 20?

So the internals were all stock, headgasket was stock, etc right? On a CT26?

Whats your suspension setup, and are you running without ABS on your brakes?

A mate of mine was driving in the GTO video though its the same car. It has Tein coilovers and 17" wheels with semi slick tyres. No ABS

It's a GEN2 3SGTE running around 23psi with a PWR water to air intercooler. It puts out around 210kW at the wheels. There was water in the oil and I was losing coolant and the engine would hardly run! The engine stopped firing when the EVO was next to me and I pretty much just rolled until I stopped under the bridge :-(
