Your grandparents were all born "Vardarskans" (self-identified as Bulgarians living under Serbian rule, hence the fact that your language is Bulgarian with a Serbian twist) and were born in Vardarska Banovina. While they were in Vardarska, the Northern Greeks were calling themselves Macedonian.
