  • lucky him

  • If I was him, I would have been over that barrier and waiting for the pick up truck, hoping that no one comes off in the same place. This weekend was a lot of crashes. And mostly cars pilling into stopped cars.

  • oversteered to the left like a dumbass

  • this is why you don't let lawyers drive at nurburgring

  • According to DVLA (Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority) records, the registration applies to a silver C220 (W202) ... It didn't have a new road fund licence issued in the UK after June 2007, draw your own conclusion.

  • my dad used to have one of those mercs, they handle like shit, the suspension technology is about 20 years old

  • @feverpitch82 Well, the whole car is about 20 years old.

  • He drives a silver Mitsubishi now. lol

  • it'll buff out....

  • What the hell was this guy doing with a wagon on the track? Must have been a rental. I own a '94 and I love it, but a 500E or a 190-16v belongs on the race track, not the wagon. This car is great for hauling you and 6 of your drunk buddies around to the German bars.

  • "dude, my father's got an AWESOME toolbox. we can fix this..."

  • c43 ...

  • c53amg out ...

  • that'll buff out lol

  • 'if in doubt.....flat out'

  • @ilikebumfluff i dunno man. i watched a real nurburgring run next to a forza 3 run, and it looked a helluvalot similar

  • why is everyone mentioning grandturismo.... this track was out on the first Forza motorsport, no forza love?

  • This track is really hard in Gran Turismo. I wonder if it is harder in real life.

  • @mozartiano123 well bet this driver still thought when he was playing Gran Turismo, experience is a great plus but even the best driver can make a mistake or slide out due bit of dust

  • @mozartiano123 its easier in real life but the stakes are higher

before i went for first time in 2005 i played it on gt4 it helped a bit

but when i got back home i broke my personal lap record on gt4 no problem

my real laps helped my virtual ones lol

  • he didn't play nfs :)

  • for you tommy...... das war is over! >:D

  • i would go to that guy like james may with the 'L' hand on my head

  • Too ambitious + Overheated Commuter Tyres :-/

The most important thing is that the driver made it, the car can be replaced ;-)

    Better luck next time . . .

    Greetz,

    Joseph

  • he was outta control before he got to the corner

  • riallineamento poco riuscito!!!

  • the first mistake was driving an estate car on this track

  • I make that same over correcting mistake all the time in gran turismo..

  • @bliglum

    me to man me to

  • i would have just drift it ur shit!

  • o darn.

  • next time dont drive with a fucking combi... family race car ? or managers race car?

  • i hate people who wants to drive the nurbergring, and then the first time they get on the track they think ; I'm now Schumacher!

  • looks like his dad's car.

  • that happens to me on gran turismo too

  • Why would you want to take that shit piece round the Nurburg anyway?

  • I can hear M3 CSL in this movie ;)

  • anybody called a taxi?

  • never did like those anyways.

  • Tank slap. What a bitch.

  • ALE URWAŁ !!!

  • @HIVTRIM22 ale to nie było takie dobre ;]

  • SO typical beginners mistake.

as SOON as the backend starts to go out, he let's go of the speeder, and overcompensates with countersteering...

Should've learned that in a parkinglot instead of the ring!

  • c 43 amg

  • Chuck norris in a Merc

  • Its probably Jeremy Clarkson

  • he needs a BMW

  • Shouldn't have driven off the track...

  • @infiniti2006 - SHOULDN'T have gone to the RING...

  • probably the uncontrolable c63 amg (only mika hakkinen can control one) i like the c63 amg buuuut need less wayward handeling

  • @brigadeir998 nope it's a W202 not a W204. . . .probably just a slow diesel or patrol with an unexperienced driver

  • all am sayin is LOL!

  • Great Job dude !

  • That is purely called "running out of talent" :)

  • it's a woman because it's a station wagon and it crashed

  • He has to pay for the damage to the wall he hit too.

  • well at least he is in the right country to get it fixed

  • aahwhy there is no chat on you tube.. Btw anyone up for some cam chat^^

  • Driver brake to late then shit out by not getting back on the gas. oh dear hope that wasnt the family holiday motor all the way from uk. Bet you he was beggin the misus to let have a lap and he stuffed it.

Normaly happens to me i feal for him.

  • That's what happens when you track a heavy road car without proper suspension or tires. I'm sick of audi rs/amg owners who think they own "road going race cars". Get a porsche or an old m3.

  • How do you work that out? a 1999 E class estate must have been worth oooo, thruppence happeny by 2007!

  • ohje der schöne w202...

  • nice one

  • It's happy insurance time again ! Good luck .

  • Then you fell shitty. Nice car btw.

  • Haha brilliant, not only is it humiliating enough having a crash uploaded to the internet, but u broadcast the poor bastards number plate aswell!

  • I like the wagon, but hate 'grilver' (the color.)

I would expect it to handle Atlanta's ring-road (I-285), but not do all that well at Nurburgring, doh!

    /..

  • how is he going to explain this to his wife and kids?

  • @ph3n0ms maybe there were in the car

  • its an estate, wat was he thinkin!

  • whys there an estate on nurburgring anyway?

  • @luigi2413 youre allowed to drive pretty much anything on there. they even let a ford transit on once, it was on top gear

  • there went that dude's family car

  • the short sound of e46 csl are NICE

  • LOL he thought that he was driving an Audi RS6.

  • @stevebailey69 :P that's supposed to be worse. if the car doesn't take damage it's terrible for passenger safety. the easier the car gets crumpled the more force it absorbs and doesn't transfer it to the cabin.

  • The infamous Nürburgring Nordschleife forgives nobody including several world champion drivers.... it's a matter of time, the crash will occur...

  • An ESTATE, who races an estate :L

  • It's the Nurburgring, you'll find almost anything driving on that track.

  • Rickard Rydell

  • simply overcorrected, probably from letting off the throttle. not saying he's stupid or anything, just stating what happened. not a professional driver, thats all.

  • Stresser - I hope you're only talking about front wheel drive man.

  • Can happen to everyone, so stop hating.

Just dont do Nordschleife without proper Training, that would save yourselft.

  • this corner is dangerous

  • he's stupid....he went off trottle and steered too much left....i bet he was scare like hell when the back of his car started to move :))

  • Fooo-ckin' 'ell.

  • Hey bob, bet i can drift around this corner...SSHIIITT!! lol

  • LOL, a wagon.

  • Haha bad driver !!!

  • haha u brits should stop driving on the wrong side of the road

  • we could say the same about you!

  • haha still feel sorry for that guy 820 euros is a lot

  • Get off your high horse. The majority of the worlds population live in countries that drive on the correct (left side of the road).

  • but it's actually wrong

  • assficker

  • it hapens when a car is smarter than human

  • he shouldn't release the throttle

  • yeah !

when the car begins drift or slide .. never go off throtle

then u only be looser, not user ^^

  • @Stagobos

esp would kill that car even if he didnt release

  • It kinda looks like he lifted off and overcorrected, so the car got unsettled... Spun back the other way... :(

  • yes.

  • @LP640ROADSTERdk you a common mistake with inexperienced trackdrivers...

people don't seem to get that 'the nurburg' is one of the most difficult tracks to go on , especially in wet .

I'd never go on it until i master a decent car on my local track , zolder and spa ...

then again , i'd just hire a car with the proper setup and insurance to go there..no way i'm taking my own car up on 'the green hell' ...

  • @TheAMGLover come on man its not that bad... even though i do live in nurburg and always race it... lol jk it is a pain in the ass even for me

  • @cavaliersfan08 I know , i've been there aswell with The Belgian FordClub ;-)

But then we drove in group and i had just an 100bhp fiesta .I'm sure if i was alone and just going 'to drive'..i would try to reach the limits (mine or the car's) , like so many others..i was actually saying people have to know to dangers...

I myself am trained by AMG as proffesional driver and testpilot for exclusive exotics ..still i'll choose a small car instead of my shiny merc ;-)

  • @TheAMGLover yea i am also certified for proffesional racing... sorry my english is not the best, but i have droven quite a few exotics around the track and i just plain and simply LOVE it

  • @LP640ROADSTERdk That's how I ended up in a ditch last!

  • lmAo :)

  • You are a moron who doesnt know what means to have a good car

  • Do we have to pay for the armco??? and i didn't see the car hit the armco... =|

  • yer... you have to pay for it per metre and its 3 sections high in some places

  • And that's nasty...you have to pay for the car damage and for the armco... that's gonna hhurt your pocket a lot!!!

But anyway, I thought that they would leave the damage like scratches or so but of course they have to replace if it's completely damaged...

  • Yer, i dont think its so bad if you have insurance that covers it though. And a lot of companies exclude the nurburgring by saying "no cover for de restricted toll roads" but if the track has to be closed and they have to call a recovery truck, and the ring medics....it can cost a few grand!

  • If we have insurance, it won't look too bad... Theey exclude the Nurburgring??? Oh no...that's even more hurting... Well if they call a recovery truck, medic etc.. That's gonna make a massive hole in your pocket...

So just drive carefully and try to avoid any accidents...

Anyway, have you seen a BMW Z3M caught on fire at the Nurburgring enterance?? That's gonna costs even more I think... Track marshall, police and fireman all rushed to put out the fire...

  • why not drive a normal car on the ring? it is the safest place to find out yours and your car limits

same like motorbike track days don`t need a motogp bike to go out there

  • Hahaha. That's my friend's friends car. Thank you for getting it on film, he'll love to see this. That's the #1 spot for people to wreck at, because they think they can take that corner with such speed. I miss the Ring.

  • of all cars to race on the ring, you choose a estate mercedes. i wish i could feel sorry for you

  • dont drive normal cars on the ring. simple.

  • why not thousands of people do every year

  • yeah, but a normal car with normal tires, normal suspention etc, is not suited to race with...not like this guy this anyway. see the result.

  • an estate car? around the ring? really?

  • youd be suprised, i went to visit the ring about a year ago... and wow, i saw hummers, RV's yes i said rv's, and tour busses lol

  • well in that case, im waiting to see an articulated lorry do the ring!

  • loool i would shit myself if i saw that

  • over corrected bleh

  • shit happens.

  • Ein Glück, daß rein gar keine deutsche Fahrer mit ihren Autos auf dem Nürburgring ihren Abflug machen, was?

  • Yes this is typical for a Tourist Track Day. But it's the fun of it too. If you visit you will see a lot of mom and pop people movers on the track :) including Busses!

  • its the ring...anyone can drive it.....ignorance eh..?

  • 190? there´s no c190...

    on 2 wheels at 00:6 +/-

  • lol @ merc estate. Is there a worse car to take round a track?!

  • A transit van??

They did that on top gear too!

  • ugly shitty ass car anyway

  • probably a 190 diesel

  • hahahahaha stupid station wagon ! thats what you get noooob

  • LOL fucking idiot brought a station wagon to race. Owned.

  • aka hatchback... which about 1/2 the rally cars run nowadays... fucking retard

  • You are an idiot, a hatchback is completely different from a stationwagon. A stationwagon is a sedan that has an extended boot. A hatchback is a miniature sedan. You are a fucking retard, if you can't tell the difference between the two you should be shot.

  • he countersteered too much :[

  • lol noob driver-haha

  • Lol nothin more badass that bringing your station wagon to the ring

  • Lol

  • thats a road car not a racing car...you dont have enough downforce with that car to drive like this...

  • hahahahahaah professional driver!!!

  • se non sanno pilotare che stiano a casa.

  • Puo' capitare a tutti

  • This is at Brünchen...??

  • yes it is :)

  • a bit more opposite lock wouldn't have gone astray

  • unfortunate accident but it's the risk you take as i'm sure the driver is aware. that corner is a known spectator area and i found myself going just a little bit harder through there for some reason lol.

  • ... immer wieder gut die kombination aus kleinhirn und kleinholz ...

  • why do people take those cars to racing these are not ment for it!

  • To be honest the tyres were shot... but he had done a 9.15 BTG (if you dont know what BTG means then dont comment) Clarkson took 2 days to crack 10 minutes... oh, and it was my car... C230 compressor

  • stfu

  • spanner

  • rofl, nice

  • Un incapace, bastava tenere giù il piede e controsterzare. Andava anche piano.

  • mercedes wagon no good for race

  • what an idiot! no skills no shit and stock car sucks. i hope he won't do it on the public road any more.

  • And THAT is why you want ESC.

  • the problem is that usualy ESC makes cars dull, basicaly it makes driving a detached experience. a safer one though.

  • Well, I'd rather have my car in one piece than have a little more fun. I do understand your point, but you can still have fun in a safe, controllable car.

  • im sure you can, and given that most cars will be used as commuting devices, ESC definetly does its job (stats prove it). i do like to play with under and over steer (pref. oversteer) end ESC dials it out (well for all practical purposes)...

  • well, i'm unsure about the other systems out there, but in my V70XC, the ESC is barely applied (if at all) when a large amount of throttle is applied. ESC is applied fully, if needed, during light/no throttle.

  • maybe i just like to be scared, knowing there is no safety net. not very wise i suppose, but so far so good, and the few spins that i had along the way were harmless (as in no bodywork or towtrack needed). i do aknowledge that my experience with ESC is limited and there must be a ton of different systems.

  • Well, in my view, the place to spin is on the track :P

Although it's not impossible to spin with ESC and so on. It's always good to see how your car reacts when it spins.

  • true that. by the way, i think that todays engeneers have it easy. a lot of flaws in handling can be remedied by software.

    regards tt

  • that is true. there is much less room for improvement these days. although, that makes it difficult for engineers and such to develop systems that will actually make a significant change.

room for innovation is running out.

  • That car wasn't built for driving like the way he was.

If I ever took a trip to the Nur in a car like that, I'd at least rent a different car.

  • the uncool thin is that they won't insure you when you're driving on the ring (logical) wich would mean that you're crashing your rented car and be paying is afterwards...

    :-P

  • err, he could well have been insured. Some standard policies cover you, and you can get specialist ring insurance. It's classed as a toll road not a race track

  • Yep, over compensaiting will do that to you!!!

  • Jesus, he really can't drive!

  • off course ! that's cool !!!

  • so people just sit there and watch after a crash ?

    weak
