hey, everytime i try to play a dvd in the wii, it says exception (DSI) occured :( idk y its doing this it works with some videos on an sd card but when i tried oplaying dvds it wont work please help :(

Use v0.75 instead. v0.76 is buggy.

Oh yeah, it tries to play playlists before you've selected a video, which is a big bother. I really do hope they fix ALL of these problems with 0.76. They should make it more back like it was on 0.75, which is the best mplayer ce I have used thus far.

Yep 0.75 is a lot better. Several problems I have noticed with 0.76 is freezing when navigating the menu, freezing whilst playing some videos and crashing when playing DVD's. It crashes constantly when trying to stream videos from youtube and was going to end up buying the ethranet adapter but thankfully didn't. Thanks for the heads up man.

will this work on 4.2 wii? i have a old modchip and my only choice is to install cios 202 but i dont know if that would cause conflict with 4.2, btw i have cios rev 10 which i need for sdhc, they both can coexist?

Everything is installed right it just won't play dvds it says mounting dvd then plays something over and over for 10 seconds but its not the dvd? I don't know whats wrong with it.

You must install cIOS202 to get DVD functionality.

Use the previous one: v0.75... v0.76 has some issues to fix.

Remember to change "mplayer_ce" folder from "apps" when change to another mplayer version.
