Yes, the reason it was untenable was because corporations were fleecing retirement accounts and the FED made laws to stop corporations from fleecing the plans. Note that the FED exempted themselves. However, investors and brokers didn't actually play the role you are implying it was the worker's employers.

Only military, rescue and offshore drilling supply helicopter can land at rough seas (and of course you'll need a ship/rig that is big enough) :)
