Tesslation should be really good for water surface simulation, right? I should have a look at that, because I'm working on a boat game, and I need huge water surfaces.

Krohnos should have not left in backwards compatibility.
Instead maintain the 3 branch with fixes and begin again with 4.
They are afraid to make choices.
