  • make more viedeos about this organ please

    is't very nice

  • I am happy you like the organ. There are five films of my Decap on You Tube and I think that is enough for now, maybe more next year! You can buy CD's of this organ.

  • Nice music. But what is the idea behind the "modern" organ (looks like an ELKA?) amongst the vintage instruments on the machine?

  • It's not a vintage organ, nor does it pretend to be. Decap organs are still being made today and incorporate modern electronic instruments. My organ was built in 1989 and yes, it is an Elka which is connected into the system. Earlier Decap organs included Hammond organs.

  • That explains it. I thought it was build in the 50's (like the "robot band"). So is the ELKA controlling the "Joy" or is "Joy" controlling the ELKA. I have an ELKA X-1000 myself and it can control up to 7 indenpendent MIDI instruments at a time. I have thought about building a small electromechanical glockenspiel and maybe some percussion.

  • There is a computer system (vintage 1989) which controls the whole thing, sort of pre-midi, which is run from a cassette player originally but now an mp3 player containing the tunes. The registration and notes of the Elka are part of the ensemble. The Elka is a E45 - I have another in my house which I play occasionally

  • so that how your organ looks like today.....
