wow 2" quad tape, that takes me back.... chanel 44 in those days was such a small station in a large market, that they did stuff that no other chicago local would do in the early 70's. no way would WGN let a black dance show with a black audience on the air in the most segregated city in the USA. but as a northern suburb white kid, that show was the best, and the act he had on are legends now. the show was better before he went hollywood....
