  • I LOVE THAT MAN

  • woow really nice

  • but did you feel like a tool having to say 'kaossilator pro' over and over?

  • eh ?

  • Thanks for your vids man! I'm "fooling" in love with each machine you show! :) Fantastic!!!

  • It's only as powerful as you mind is..

  • @fatcuntist that has nothing to do with the video at all. thumbs down for a fapping 13 yr old

  • can the vocoder on the kaossilator be compared to the one in the MicroXL?

  • It's like a 80's porno all over again! You can almost imagine John Holmes poking a over-weight-mullet-wearing-gunt-having-chick to this one. Awesomeness right there :D

  • ah see watchu did thurrr

  • cool

  • do you need more than one monitor(pair or single) for using these two together?

  • so ya'r tellin me that the kp3 version doesn't play any sound alone but needs an input? and that the kaossillator pro can instead create a sound by self?

  • @thelastgreenleaf i have both machines. they are pretty awesome. yes, kp3 is basically just a sampler. you can load sounds via the sd card, or sent in through the rca connections. it technically does have some basic synth and drum sounds loaded but, its really not intended for that.

  • @TheHorizonchild ok tnx, so i need a MIDI keyboard ^.^

  • @TheHorizonchild oh, and... please, can u tell me what i have to do to stop the echo effect? every time i use any sinth or else it makes it and, ok, great effect but... tnx again

  • this sounds like Jet Age Of Tomorrow

  • can you do the same time with a kaossolitor and emx-1? (input and output cords err w/e there called) ?? or say it was a KP3 and an emx-1?

  • Not using budget cables would help make your sound much more crisp. Fantastic tutorial though. Same setup (well part of it anyway) I'm running. Thanks for the video, man.

  • Great Beat! But didn`t quite follow you on the rap. Kinda ruined the song

  • this song sounds like some kind of dk 64 backround music

  • can anybody tell me if you can save your music that u have created in your computer?

  • If you're using a Korg analog synth, do you need a computer to connect it to the Kaossilator Pro? x

  • Very good demo video. Straight forward and to the point. Thumbs up.

  • One day a monkey will record a hit song, ffs

  • Hey what cables do I need to hook these bad boys up to each other?? please help!

  • @odz40 Just a basic coaxial stereo audio cable, as seen in the video

  • @odz40 Just a basic coaxial stereo audio cable, as seen in the video

RCA cable* sorry I'm used to looking at the cables from a technology standpoint hehe

  • This just breeds laziness. Think i'll get one and be a bedroom superstar!!!

  • MIDI misery

MIDI compatibility was one of the main features we thought would improve the Kaossilator, so the arrival of MIDI ports on the Pro got us seriously excited. Unfortunately, it doesn't support standard note data. The X-Y coordinates are instead sent and received as CC values, meaning that if you want to play the internal synth instruments using a MIDI controller or DAW you'll need to find a way of converting notes to CC.

  • Awwwwwwww yeeeaaahhh

  • that's kick ass !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SOLD

  • Wait.. so it makes porno music? Sold.

  • hi pal. your tutorials are really helpful but I have an objection/question. even if Im recording sth in a bank internally (I mean not from another source) I find it easier to press the rec and then press the bank once when Im ready instead of keeping it pushed for as along as im recording. Im I missing sth?

  • I am a Korg fan, but with all the respect I think that this particular kaossilator is just a toy.

I was playing with this thing for nearly an hour , perhaps the sounds are good but I don't like the fact that there are no keys as in a usual synthesizer, which makes all of this thing inconvenient + I don't remember seeing a midi connection in the device....

Anyway, Korg has tons of nice synth... but to me this one is a waste of time.

  • I sent it back, I thought I could do riffs and stuff with the sound off my key boards. even the tech supervisor said you can't do that, it's a cool idea though. We couldn't even get it to do what it was supposed to through midi. I got myself something else coming tomorrow matter of fact.

  • @poorwilly00 im not sure If Im talkin bullshit cause Im not into synths (Im a bass palyer) but what if you sent your keys to a 4 channel console and then to the input of the kaossilator? unless you mean that you want to control the kaoss' sounds through your keyboard which is sth that is done in this one I think..

  • 3:17 I see what you did there.

  • very detailed, nice!

  • what cable do use to connect them?

  • great stuff!

  • HOLY SHIT BALLS JUST ORDERED CANT WAIT

  • @toddbolden hahaaa:D

  • @toddbolden is it worth buying kaos pro?

  • @metaphesis Erm.........YES!

  • @metaphesis yes, if you've got some other stuff to play around on too, otherwise it by itself would eventually get sorta old. but it's super easy to use that's for sure...it kinna does it for you. one thing i don't like though is that for the four loop banks you have one sequence that continuously loops, and whenever you activate it it picks up at where ever it is in the sequence rather than from the beginning. which is good for timing but id rather be more like a sample pad in that regard

  • thansk a lot

  • sounds like Tim from Tim and Eric

  • That was a weird ass song.

  • @happytyler41892 hahha

  • Comment removed

  • What scale is this in?

  • Oh, do want bad!!!

  • Can I do a RCA -1/4 adapter and use an M3,. Oasys?? I was going to just replace my ribbon controller, Yet this seems more 3 demensional

  • @poorwilly00 I did that on my yamaha, so far it's not working except to play the audio of the piano through the korg. Doesn't play the instruments on the korg at all. Lemme know if you have better luck.

  • @LegendaryAdrenaline No luck I just sent it back. This one guy from England wanted to do the same thing and he actually got with a guy from Korg and they said no way, it's a great idea but the market for this function is not there. My friend was going to build me something like an Ipad that would receive my data from the board and I could riff off from it. She flaked out last week and left the country... I bought an I pad cause Jordan Rudess said so. anyone need an I pad with all the riggings?

  • Good video. One question, could you bring in an analog source into the mic without overloading it? Such as a bass guitar or Moog?

  • @djkollage yea dude on the bottom right on the front side there is a mono input. acoustic electric sounds really nice recorded into it. that input opens up so many more musical possibilities.

  • @heyshutupyou Thanks! I ended up buying the machine. You're right, so many possibilities :)

  • That was actually really slick.

  • Hi, which microphoned o you suggest?

  • What is the touch pad made of? is it plastic or glass or what? is it hard to slide your finger around quickly or is it smooth and easy? THANKS!

  • Daaaaamnnnnnn i cant afford it till next month! about 100 bucks to expensive for me atm...fuck my life.

  • @Sasinio I think I'm buying one, I have been asking all sorts of questions yet no answers. I want to use it for more solo work. I tried the little one and I got it to really whale out. the shop said this had a bigger pad and and more octaves, yet they did not have one. If this is crap for me give me what you can afford and we will hook up. I remember when I was 16 wanting this Moog and this guy helped me, Just promise you will make great music

  • So much want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sounded great!

  • DOPE!

  • I F-ING LOVE IT!!! IT'S GONNA GO GREAT WIT MY KP3!!

  • I see what you did there

  • XL sucks. The regular microKORG is like 10x better and is way cheaper. -__-

  • @fladoodel fer sure.... Oh shit your adam ^_^ Hello pal

  • what if i plugged, say, an electric guitar into the mic jack or

a midi electronic drumpad into the 'midi in' slot,

will i be able to apply effects to what im playing?

  • briliant! Love the vocoder!

  • Would you demonstrate the difference between MIDI and line level recording?

    Great demo!

  • I just bought the Kaossilator pro awesome tool !!!!!!!

  • Fantastic tutorial! I just ordered one of these and I'm expecting it to arrive Tue 6th or Wed 7th March. I've got Mixcraft 5 DAW and I'm hoping to get into creating some music with this combo. I've never used a Kaosilator before so, every video tutorial really helps. I was wondering if it gives many options to change the sounds of vocal singers via the mic input? Also, can I plug guitar into it and modify its sound? I've got a keyboard with MIDI but I like what U have on this video. Thanx

  • awesome

    I love it,

  • Excellent viideo as always, demonstrating specific capabilities in a clear way. Great series of videos.

  • mines coming sooon :)

    cant wait

  • thats looks great, i need some recording stuff

  • this is really cool, i want one... i want a lot of things, just dont have the dosh!
