Do exactly the same except! This time, go to realms, choose a realm and go to the items in that realm, "Realm Enus" and use with notepad!

this isn't working. i downloaded a mod (leopard), and did EVERYTHING RIGHT. but, when i typed in leopard armor, (spelled correctly, capitalized correctly, ect) NOTHING HAPPENED! the only thing i had were my own mods I made! no leopard armor at all! D;

@bladesmist440 I'll field that one! Go to where you installed fate and go to items, enus(lol) and use the "Enus" with notepad, go down to an item, copy and paste i at the top, now change the name, press ctrl F and look for percentattackspeed and copy the entire effect, paste into item, under stats, above [Item] and now, play, type it in, and enjoy, whatever you changed the number to, like say a wimpy 15%, that's your stat, also works in negative!

@TheNinjaRobotDude It might be a good idea to try, If it doesn't work you should still be able to do it manually, if you don't know how to do it manually, you pretty much just change the file in notepad, there might be a tutorial on it somewhere :P.

@TheNinjaRobotDude yes it works in every fate game the either you just extact the mod in the fate folder and thats it or you have to do it manually with the mod manager.

I think I overloaded my game causing a hidden run-time error, for messing with an item with stats of epicness. XD So now I can't use item cheat codes. :P

Right click security tab then go to edit then allow all....

1. open items.dat and open notepad

2. copy items.dat into blank document on notepad

3. save notepad onto your desktop as items.dat

4. delete original items.dat and replace with the items.dat that you just made You can now mod

ive had this game for a while. ctrl-shift-~ does alot. if you type god or levelup you will level up. and you can create monsters with that feature.

It doesnt work for me , i open the file location where my fate game was and when i click on the mod manager , a file call "MODS" appear right away in the folder , i put my items that i downloaded for the mod in the folder MODS , than when i open the manager , i see Elven Armor , i press apply mod , and when i launch the Game , i did ctrl shift and ~ , i type in Elven Armor , and nothing happen..

Make sure it it Perfectly spelled right, and you type it in PER PIECE, if you have a group of items, you have to type in their names 1 at a time

I dont think so, I bought the game a long time ago so i have the full version. Maybe if you have ANY folder that has Fate's objects(directory in a place other than the c drive) then you could put a MOD folder there. You'll just have to expirament.

then if it asks you how to open it, say open in notepad

Make sure that you put the directory TO THE MODS folder. Dont just direct it to the FATE folder and assume itll find MODS.

when you go into the game, nothing will look as if it has changes, you have to press and hold

1.control

2.shift

3.tilda (~) (next to 1 at the top of your keyboard)

then type in the item you added and press enter and itll appear next to you

when you press the 3 buttons, a ? should appear to the left of your screen, thats how you know that you can start typing the name of your item, and SPELL IT PERFECTLY

as for using vista, u might have to right click and "run as admin" but not sure

o i think i know your problem

when your in the game (i recommend while in town) you press control (hold it) shift (hold it) and tilda, tilda looks like this (~)and then a question mark will appear, thats where you type it in, then press enter, and also, make sure you spell it right, with capitals and everything
