I have to read through REV. The first test, it has Jn 1:1c 'what God was, the Word was', which originally was shown NEB. Excellent choice.

As to the name itself, REV would be no problem, except it might cause confusion as "Rev ", the usual abbreviation for the Book of Revelation.
