@EriGunnz I'm sorry that wasn't clear. Basically, as you probably know with tab, a 3b4 would mean play the 3rd fret and bend it up to what would be the equivalent of the 4th. When I write a 3b, what I am saying is just play the 3, and give it a slight bend up before playing the next note. The point is you wouldn't want to really make the 4 that prominent as you would with 3b4.. it's more just a feel a blues type of thing. It's very common to just bend the 3rd a little. Thanks!
what kind of douche-liker would rate this a 1-star? oh yeah... a douche-licker
ok, school a noob on "amp-style-tone". this guitar "sound" has a lot more "bite"? than my sound? i'm actually using a Mesa V-Twin directly into a Black Shadow speaker, cuz my Chassis" out for work.
so is this "guitar-sound" like the "marshall"-style? like its kind of "crunchier"? than my Mesa which is like more "growlly"?
@dmantsio Those chords are just A7, D, and E. On the A7 emphasize the G note, on the D chord, emphasize the F#, and on the E chord, emphasize the G# (ie. emphasize the notes you see there on the high E string)
great lesson, except one thing: The "second part" of the riff is not supposed to be played with a note on the fifth fret, just the second and the fourth fret :)
This is the best tutorial for this song I have ever seen. It is easy to follow and extremely accurate. I did goof up when I was trying to rate you and accidentally clicked 1 star instead of 5 stars. I do apologize and I assure you it was not intentional. Please keep more of these tutorials coming!
dude i've been playing it wrong for years. Thanks for posting this.Instead of the initial little bend on A string C? note I was hitting the 4th fret, and hitting A twice when he comes back down with the 2 4 2 rock-a-billy part. Thanks bro
hey, sorry i told u u were playing it wrong i got this book that tells mes to play it dfferently but once i actually listen really hard to the song youre playing it right so im verry sorry
forgive my ignorance, but I´m learning how to play and read tabs for guitar, and I didn´t understand what "3b" means on the ibtro tab you show... ._.
