Jeez. Even his very talented daddy fluffs lyrics. There's a vid on youtube of Beeswing live in 2005, and RT sings "we ficked pruit" instead of "we picked fruit". There are some other vids from that Scottish TV show where RT doesn't even start the line of a chorus or verse, but TT is right there singing in his high harmony. Good reliable backup.

I think RT DOES have another son from a later marriage.

Less talented than what? Teddy is considerably more talented than most people his age that pass for musicians. If talent was the major criteria for success these days, we wouldn't be subjected to the likes of Britney or JLo or Robbie Williams, etc. Teddy Thompson wasn't shoved onto a stage at an early age, his awkwardness and little mistakes make him all the more charming. His mama raised him right. (BTW, he is Richard and Linda's only son, so there's no way he can be the "less-talented son".)
