  • I love this clip! Its easy to follow!

  • below comments here are all out of issue....all i can say it, thanks for uploading this video, i will try it soon..umayos kayo ha!

  • @midnightblue113 I don't need to answer that, if you've been following. Its not that I'm saying he should call it "fridge" its just he can't say I or anyone else is wrong for calling it "ref". The absence of intelligence is...? and EXACTLY I am what I think, so if I thought you said "dumb" in your post is under my jurisdiction. :D

  • @alyssaxoxo8 when i commented on this video, it is for me to "SHARE" what is the RIGHT term, i was not bragging my self on what i do know. i'm sharing my sense. and with that, i know that people would or would not respond accordingly.

  • my coach in LaSalle once told me, "Debates are won not by how many language u know, how many words u said or how loud your voice is. it is over when other think of your point and want it out of their system cause IT's hurting them".now, i leave this debate. cause my point of sharing is over and it's time for me to do things that will help me to put foods inside of my "fridge".. thanks

  • @yapedong True and yet you kept on countering my point of view with your opinions. I never implied that you or anyone else should call refrigerator "ref" I was simply stating that anyone else can call whatever they want commodity or not. With that said, I was only defending my point of view; and same goes to you. And good luck with your fridge-filling.

  • @alyssaxoxo: i dont see anything wrong about the correction of yapedong; Intelligent person accepts correction..always remember "A great mind can lead and be led & A sign of intelligence is an awareness of one's own ignorance. take that as a compliment. =)

  • @midnightblue113 :D An intelligent person might consider another possibility; however it doesn't mean that they will be easily abide to it. Like I said, people have different beliefs.. So,am I dumb to STILL call a refrigerator "ref" even though I KNOW that it's more commonly called (in other places of course) "fridge"? Is my whole FAMILY dumb to call it a "ref"? My uncle calls it "frigidaire" is that dumb as well? People who don't have an education but still make a living, are they dumb as well?

  • what the fudge! Ganon lang pala yun kadali gumawa ng Sio mai? i'm on! lol

  • nice tutorial... but, let me help u out with the "ref" thing.. "ref" is used for referees not for refrigerator.. frige is the right shortcut...^_^ God bless

  • @yapedong in the Philippines its more common to call the refrigerator "ref" rather than fridge.. ;D

  • @alyssaxoxo8 but being common doesn't mean it's right di ba?? kaya natututo ng mali ang mga tao kasi un ang nakasanayan... for example, it's a COMMON thing for Filipinos to throw garbage when their on jeepneys or puvs, ibig sabhin ba non, it's the right thing to do kasi nga COMMON?!?! think dear..

  • Comment removed

  • @yapedong being common also doesn't make things wrong either. If someone told me i can't say something in Tagalog simply because it is not a commodity is wrong as well. i think people have their own way of talking. and we're not talking about throwing garbage around anyways. we're talking about a way of saying things. so what if most filipinos call it "ref" instead of "fridge"? you know what they means; the important thing is getting your point across.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 meant*... its not like she's dirtying the world by her words nor will she trigger chaos by implementing the word "ref" towards her viewers. its true that people more "commonly" call it a fridge somewhere else, but other people also call other things differently; like soda as opposed to pop.. or bathroom as opposed to the toilet. you know? call it individuality or a force of habit but its not WRONG to call things differently.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 my point here is this.. how can we be globally competitive and acknowledge if we "USED" to say things the wrong way?.. foreigners are making fun of us out there, thinking how low-life and scum Filipinos are in the manner of using the RIGHT terms that "THEY" have created.. para bang ganto, sa Pilipinas, pag toothpaste ok lng na sabhing "pabili nga ng colgate ung hapee""?? di ba?? see my point?? it's wrong to call things differently coz it will cause "CONFUSION"..

  • @alyssaxoxo8 continuation... maybe not to the extent na magkakagiyera pero ung "COMMON SENSE' nadedegrade.. people, let's be analytical in here.. ang mga Pinoy, pag tinuturan ng tama, nagagalit, nagdadahilan.. ang Pinoy laging may excuse at kontra, sa tama.. pero ang TUNAY na Pinoy, MAY UTAK at kakayahang umintindi.. kaya, gamitin un.. don't build lame excuses to fortify your tower and save u'r asses out. be competitive and LEARN!

  • @yapedong ok.. so why don't i say that u shouldn't mix english and tagalog together because it builds confusion? what then? what are you going to do? are you going to make excuses for that? there will always be haters out there who will find every mistake to your way of living not just because of how you say things. Some filipino kid in canada got discriminated for eating his lunch with a spoon and fork.. so how does he justify that in the eyes of other people when he grew up eating that way?

  • @alyssaxoxo8 let her and everyone else who calls it "ref" be. its not like you're being affected by this. it's our culture anyways. why try to cater to the common standards of another place/country? there are lots of things that filipinos do that seem wrong to others and there are also a lot of things that other countries do that is considered to be "wrong" in our standards. this is why "wars" happen; when you try to imply a standardized way of thinking unto people who are perfectly fine as is

  • @alyssaxoxo8 so ur saying that we have a culture that is build in confusion and "wrong" ideas?? ur taking my whole point personally and as wrong as it should be.. think it this way.. when i commented on the "ref" thing, i was just like a brother saying the exact RIGHT term to a sibling.. GET it?? is this how you react whenever you are taught by somebody who "KNOWS" thing that most people would never deal with?and what's w/ d issue of the kid?? with all due respect, i find it out of the issue..

  • @yapedong its not even building confusion and "wrong" ideas to begin with. you knew that what she meant when she said "ref" and that's all there is to it. the point was she was talking about the refrigerator. a sibling? please. don't act like an almighty person who knows everything and should "share" it with less "educated" people. right? because you're probably thinking that everyone who doesn't abide by your standards is "stupid".

  • @alyssaxoxo8 the point of the kid, was to show you how everyone else in different communities see things differently. it doesnt mean we have to abide by their standards. the same way as you preaching about the whole "ref" thing. people will always call something differently. there are many beliefs out there that are bound to be wrong to us. for example, religion? catholicism vs. judism vs. budism etc. so tell me, are they wrong too? are we just going to follow one set of "unwritten" rules?

  • @alyssaxoxo8 and i do apologize if i read you wrong or i misinterpreted you, because from reading your comments, that's what you sound like to me.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 my point is that what she did was not WRONG. in the FILIPINO culture its right to say it that way. you're basing your arguments on another country's standards and that's not how we should be. in the philippines, a lot of people are mixing english and tagalog together and i think that's wrong. but do i correct them? no.. because that's simply how they prefer to say it.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 what im trying to say is that the way she refers refrigerator as "ref" is already deep rooted in our mind that it doesn't need to be changed because most of us have common sense to understand it. and most of us can learn that "fridge" is the right thing to say but some will just ignore it and continue to say it as "ref" or what they're commonly used to.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 ok alyssa.. you simply don't understand my point and you're MISSING my whole point BADLY.. look, NEVER did i think that people who don't abide with my "PRACTICALITIES" are stupid people and "Less educated"... you're the one who MIGHT bear it in mind.. i was a teacher once and whenever i correct students, it's not for that "FACT in your brain" that i did that thing.. if ever you would watch Kris Aquino correcting people in her show, that's what my point is..

  • @yapedong some people would react like "ano ba yang si Kris, pakialamera, paBIBO" and stuff. but then, she's SHARING things that might help people.. d ba?? i'm not acting i'm almighty and whatever things you've said, but then, "PARANG NAGPAALALA LANG AKO NA MAGTAPON NG BASURA SA TAMANG LUGAR" did u understand?? because sometimes, people would know but never act RIGHT... thanks midnightbue.. i agree with u'r quote..

  • @yapedong now alyssa, what would you call the person that would officiate a sport?? a "FREE"??? hahah.. when she said "put it in the ref" i've understand that it's the REFRIGERATOR that she's referring to,simply because she's in the kitchen.. but, this wild thing runs in mind "creative" mind.. "PANO KAYA ILALAGAY SA LOOB NG REF UNG SIOMAI"..might sound crazy but, when you know things, you simply can't prevent yourself to think.. haha... ung siomai, nsa loob ng ref?? baka ng fridge... ^_^..

  • @yapedong so again, my dear alyssa, what would you call that person who officiates a sport??? ^_^ it's two different thing sharing the same term?? now i'm darn confused.. ^_^ thanks for sharing an intelligent moment.. i honestly am happy to have this debate with you.. God bless...

  • @yapedong Yeah, but I don't call referees "ref".. That's simply my belief. So what if I had my own way of saying stuff you know? Like, when I was reading comments about this Japanese cooking show who cooks Napolitan and there are a lot of Italian people saying that how she was cooking it was not the right way to do it. What I'm trying to say is that, I know its not "right" to call it "ref" we think of that as "slang" you see? I mean it doesn't really matter how you call it.. just as long as your

  • @alyssaxoxo8 point comes across. I don't want to be racist but have you heard how black people talk? Most people don't understand them with all the slang they're using but within their community they understand each other. And yes, I did have fun commenting on here as well :D I'm not trying to be the villain here, I'm just defending the way most filipinos say "ref" for refrigerator. :D

  • @alyssaxoxo8 I am taking your point into perspective as well though. I call it fridge when I'm with American friends and while I'm home and speaking tagalog I call it fridge. There's always going to be other people who do things differently you know? "There's more than one way to cook adobo" as my grandfather tells me. "So long as it tastes good." ahahaha

  • @alyssaxoxo8 your d only one that insist that people become dumb when they don't know how to call it right. as i said, never did i said that people who don't support my PRACTICALITIES are dumb..yup, i agree with the adobo thing..but, you can't call an abodo the name it is if it looks, taste and smells like a curry meal.. the point, YOU CAN NEVER CALL TWO different things the same term, especially if the term is PREFERABLY given to such noun..

  • @yapedong being slang carries such responsibilities that other should use slang terms the right way.. have u been a sporty buddy??? coz in lasalle, when we play, we have our referees and we call them "ref" whenever we're in the game... and we also have referee friends that shares to us the RIGHT use of term regarding the "REF" thing... THEY better be the one who you should talk to.. because they are the RIGHT person that should receive the RIGHT recognization

  • @yapedong yeah, but there's also adobo which is from spain and menudo as well? you get it? there's also different stuff that implies TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. yet people still call it that right? Yeah but you're basically calling them ignorant by referring to refrigerators as "refs" as opposed to fridge. TRUE that people call the referee ref, but I don't call it ref and so does a handful of people. IT doesnt mean they are WRONG right? if I call the COPS COPPERS instead does that make me wrong?

  • @alyssaxoxo8 True that slangs carries responsibilities.. and yet why do northern californians say HELLA as opposed to VERY. or in the southern part of cali its FUCK as opposed to every other word in the dictionary. Like I've been trying to say is that people HAVE THEIR OWN WAY OF SAYING THINGS AND IT SHOULD NOT BE LIMITED by anyone other than the individual themselves.

  • @alyssaxoxo8 true that you may inform this individual of how they should call refrigerator but that doesnt mean they can't decide which term is right for THEM. You can't say that I should call the referee "REF" because in lasalle, you guys do it. I can call it whatever I want, and the same goes for other people.

  • @yapedong Refrigerator is called ref in the Philippines. If you say fridge in Philippines it means the ice part of refrigerator. All over the world, we have different usage of words. Same thing with comfort room. In the Philippines we called them CR. In HK, they call it toilet. In Canada, they call them washrooms. That's why it's hard to understand each other if you just pick them by word for word. Just use a common sense and we can all understand each other.

  • @lovelymae81 pinaka stupid na reply to sa lahat ng nakuha ko.... FREEZER ang ice part ng refrigerator ok.. i have validated it with other people...you can look at it in the manual (if ever you have one with your fridge , pag surplus, wla ata... and with the differences on terms that varies over other country, you're missing the whole point..

Ok?

  • @lovelymae81 agree ako sa sinabi mo,,,iba-iba kasi ang language sa bawat lugar,,common sense nalang para hindi magkagulo,,dami kasing pasaway,,mga pilosopo...peace out!

  • @yapedong anong frige? haha sablay

  • i thought this type of dim sum came from china. thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks for this!

  • YOU SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

  • @Gelosauur honey, if you plan to insult someone spell check it first before you hit "post". i mean really!
