I find myself sympathizing the most with the girl's brother. It sounds like things have really gone down the shitter lately, and all he really wants to do is go out and have a drink, socially even. Everyone else on the show is really wound up, but he seems more calm and rational than anyone else. Now his sister is freaking out and crying. If the other characters had a drink every now and then, they wouldn't be such tight asses. Also, I think the girl has some serious dependency issues.

Man, I remember how this episode ended too. Her brother actually ended up getting drunk again and he raped Melody. She decided to keep it a secret due to sheer shame but not too long after that, she discovered she was pregnant. She asked the guys at the ranch to give her a makeshift abortion and in typical Hey Dude comedic fashion, they botched it. She died. It was a groundbreaking episode for Nickelodian, once I shan't forget.
