  • Sexy Siouxsie owww owww.

  • i love Siouxie !!!

  • i made this video 4 years ago myself. i am proud of this still.

  • Brillant Siouxsie song !!

  • I thought karen oh and the yeah yeah yeahs lifted this sound as well as Lydia lynch. Sometimes I call them Siouxsie & the yeah yeah yeahs. Checkout bats for lashes, blonde redhead and warpaint. Bt trying to figure out the use of the Gismotronon this track.

  • About music and time: It is all relative... I 1st heard this song on a mix tape a girl made for me in the early 90s and have loved it ever since, but when I heard this song it conjures up 80s memories because of the "vintage of the wine" so to speak. More importantly.. its just one of the best lovely haunting songs ever written. Thanks Abbey!

  • one of my favs....Juju album is prrrrrrfect! <3

  • All the instruments here are so great and distinctible. The drums, the bass, and the incredible guitar work of John Mc

  • Thanks for sharing this song with us. One of the most incredible of Siouxie and the Banshees, but sometimes forgoten.

  • @SuperPais yeah when i saw the title under related videos i was like "into the light? hmm..." and then i heard the music and i was like "oh right it's that tune" it's really got such a distinct melody how could i forget, not good with names i guess :D

  • Love the last picture.

When I discovered this band, I was quite young and shy and their style were generally referred to as marks of rebellion and disgrace (at least in my country). Some 27 years after when I enjoy all the vids posted recalling their musical and scenic journey through the years, I simply consider them as genuine and most respectable Artists with capital A !

I admire, respect, love and thank them so much for their whole work !

  • i grew up on her, the Cure, Alien Sex Fiend and all the rest. This was back at the birth of what later was called "goth" - long before Hot Topic ruined everything. Siouxie ruled. she was the Yin to Robert Smith's Yang ;)

  • nice video :)

  • AMO A ESTA MUJER!!!!!!! n_n

  • I don't even know this song lol.

  • What kind of film do you think would feature this song on its soundtrack and where in the film? Dont be afriad to be descriptive...

  • Wow, besides Night shift it is the best song of Siouxsie.

All songs of this great band contain some kind of inner sorrow.

Deep, mystical, sorrowful, great one !

  • Nice to see her and the band again, I had a CD with them onse, my first CD

  • I love this picture! 3:52

    Beautiful =)

  • Too bad it's been always very difficult to find live versions of this song, which is one of my favourites, along with "jigsaw feeling", "icon", "fireworks", "red over white" (the thorn version).

    Nice choice, thank you.

  • a great banshees song

    great vid well done

  • Juju has such a dark sound .this is one of the almighty Banshee numbers.

Spellbound is actually their most played songda only one iever saw back n da day .

  • I love this song.

I don't understand why musicians cant make music like this anymore. It's like people have forgotten hove to be creative. Most of the things you hear in the mainstream metal/got scene sounds wry much the same. I would give much to the person that could find me a time machine. Back to the 80's when music and movies where good and the alternative scene actually where alternative

  • 80"s music was something else

its too bad it ended. GOOD MUSIC, COOL PEOPLE

  • Cheers for that mate :)

  • @masterninjaofnorway if u find that time machine, make sure to go see toxic avenger at the theatre the day it comes out, like for me man....

  • @masterninjaofnorway Nope, there's still PLENTY of good music in the metal/goth scene. Ya just have to know where to look.

  • @masterninjaofnorway I feel about the 60s music, as you do the 80s. :) I would do most anything to travel back to the greatest time ever to be young!

  • @masterninjaofnorway

The answer is in your own point. Of course the mainstream sucks. The Banshees weren't mainstream - they're original stuff wasn't even AVAILABLE in the US. It has to be import-ordered and few heard it until a decade later. The good stuff today is equally obscure - don't be so frickin lazy.

  • Thanks I love this song!!!!

  • Lovely song, lovely pictures.

Producer Nigel Gray did a good effort making Mc Geochs guitar sound like police "walking on the moon" that was released and produced by him the same year.

  • 1:25 Sexy...

  • she hella looks like helena bonham carter sometimes lol

  • I LOVE Siouxsie, but I don't understand why "Arabian Nights" is their most played song. I think that "Into the light" beats everything else they've ever done. sick guitar playing in this.

  • Comment removed

  • Grew up in the punk scene in the 80's, am 46 now and still love Siouxsie...not a band or singer today could compare to her...just a bunch of no talent American Idol losers...I miss the 80's.

  • @Sasquatchhunter1 actually adam lambert is great and many others get off your judgement horse d head! repent thx loveugodbless tj akbbalah matthewshepard madonnalicious

  • 3 people suck

  • emo was not born when this came out......

  • Ain't that the truth friend.:)

  • Chokeyaneckbroke needs to be fucking wasted execution style.Just an ignorant little piece of shit like anyone thats a fan of icp.

  • No fucking respect...

What did she ever do to you?

  • You know I'd love to get my hands on you, just for one hour maybe. You need to be snuffed out before you get old enough to be a danger to others.Ofcourse you've never killed anyone nor do you have the balls,I see nothing but an angry little fifteen year old shit talker.Just breaking your fucking jaw would feel good.

  • Filth.

  • I love this song!

  • nicely done video - the pics are great, especially like the last one

  • blah blah blah we all want her and Budgie was the lucky bastard

that made me wish that I shut up and didnt post any stupid comment

  • Such a driving mover, tension rises...

    Enormous song

  • A tip: if you remove the word Tribute from the video's title you'll get a lot more views.

  • the pic at 113 seconds is pure sex

  • Siouxsie is for me neverending source of inspiration.

  • @Fushia1992 You nailed it completely....

  • Does it hurt that even your family is ashamed of you?I know it really must be painful that the only thing you'll ever have is a job in fastfood at the minimum.I know it hurt that you couldn't hack it in school.

But don't take it out on people that are better than you(Siouxsie).Just get a whole bottle of tylenol out of mommys medicine cabinet and swallow every single one and then let liver failure do the work. The pain will soon end

  • Thats why Siouxsie has a near genius iq and your heroes icp couldn't even hack it through highschool. You fail again you fucking shitstain.

  • you are a meaningless piece of shit

    go and fuck your father

  • Vanessa Hudgens was wearing a t-shirt with this song

  • Great song!

  • 250 mgs of elavil and solitude is what comes to mind for me when i hear this oh yeah and the light....i now am a unmedicated biolar and i been sober for almost 10 years so dont think things from comments please.

  • Aaah...the good old times! THX

  • one of my favorite songs ever, in the world ,in life , cuz i'm in the light , or i wanna get "into the light"

  • she looks a lot like my grandma did when she was younger. (:

  • you must have a very cool grandma. tell her i said hello.

  • Juju is on my top 10 list of favorite albums ever. "Into the Light" especially takes me back to a time of self-discovery. No better soundtrack for a young man learning about love, Scotch, heartbreak and solitude.

  • hold the scotch and heartbreak...

  • A JuJu..one of my favorite album of all times! Oh perfect! Thanx 4 up!

  • thanks for all pictures

  • Superb song choice. Get get enough of her going on 25 years since first hearing her.

  • No pics of the most famous banshee...Robert Smith?

  • oops.i forgot to add him. i did not do it purposely but if u look at the minute 1:37 you will see robert sitting next to siouxsie. how can i forget him?

  • @membear You mean the second most famous banshee? Siouxsie is the most famous banshee. It's blasphemy to say otherwise.

  • @membear forget abour Robert,John mcGeoch was so much better,Siouxsie and Severin call him their favo guitarist, and right they are!!

  • @membear forget abour Robert,John mcGeoch was so much better,Siouxsie and Severin call him their favo guitarist, and right they are!!

  • @zenobowie wrong u a hole robert is icon too!

  • @KabbalahWestCoast with other words ,Siouxsie and Severin are a holes too, that's what you're saying !!RS will never be a great guitarist, can't play a solo,he will break his fingers !hahahahahaha!!!You don't really like Siouxsie, ibut RS,every Siouxsie fan knows this about her and Severin,John M.is the best guitarist we had, even during her last tour she talked about it (Mantaray tour),but you cannot hear the difference, that tells me enough!!!

  • great pictures.

  • Great tribute and great track. Is it really 29 years since I saw her at Nottm Uni? Still one of fave bands

  • One of the BEST songs ever made. Nothing more to say..Siouxsie was the one of the best things happened to music during the 80`s..underground and powerful, untouched by the POP idiot market. They remained loyal to them and to us, Into The Light still giving me thrills through the spine even more than 20 years I first heard this awesome masterpiece...gotta to love it !! Thx for you r work and time..great job!

  • I must agree, I LOVE this song, this whole album still holds up, one of my favorites of the Banshees - I LOVE THEM! My fave Banshees Guitarist is Robert M....RIP Robert - the world of music misses you (I saw him live with PIL and his stage presence was sooo different from when he was w/ Banshees!

  • I dunno about that. The Rapture had a real commercial edge to it. I remember being immensely disappointed with it when it came out.

  • great song from a nice album. I love the drums! really cool.

  • This is one of my absolute favorite songs. All the best elements of the group shine here. Budgie's drumming is unique and sharp. John's guitar has that wicked tone and Siouxsie just sings with this range. Love it.

  • this song, this song, this song... SPECTRAL SPLENDOR, ENCHANTMENT UNLEASHED, ENTHRALLING, ENGULFING, A SUPERNATURAL FORCE, this FIRE AND ICE, it tingles all over and makes you want to fly through the night.

  • ...wow...

  • ...no doubt where this one from anne clark comes from..;)

  • what is the original coulor of her eyes? blue or brown??

  • her original eye color is blue. but she sometimes uses brown contact lenses.

I never wanted to be right...

No! A tractor by the light

    'Am blinded by the sight"

    Just couldn't resist.
