umm i agree with these people, the 1st generation was pure gold and better than others BUT i think it was a good decision to change the characters because i hate it when there's a genius tv-series like grey's anatomy which is great at the beginning ( seasons 1-4) but then it goes worse and worse because there's nothing left to do with the old dudes so they lose their charm and are no more interesting. and that's why it's nice to have new guys after every two seasons.

@FirelandsNub not true. US version was good! Bryan Elsley created it, plus it had GREAT music. I wish more people would realize that both versions were good. So many people can't wrap their head around the US version was different but good. We all love Skins!!! Of course Gen 1 was the best, but Gen 3 sux, Gen 2 got annoying...at least Skins US was interesting, but I wish Bryan Elsley would have created completely new characters for the US version. It sold the show short.
