actually I've trained in thebukinkan system for a number of years and train with Hatsumi Sensei many times. i just dont have a boner for the BBD system.
the bbd is a company limited, brian set it in the 80's. Yes he was graded by Hatsumi didn't say he wasn't. the only one who has any right to say how the bujinkan or ninjutsu should evolve is hatsumi sensei, it is his school, all the schools are his property!!!!!
Are you saying that Hatsumi soke, the owner of this art, is teaching this art wrong and that BRIAN MC CARTHY KNOWS BETTER THAN HIS OWN TEACHER!!!!
Go train with a real student of the bujinkan then let us know the differences
Im sorry to say but i knew brian pretty well raiden I trained under him. and after training with others all i have to say is substandard diluted with Wado and bjj and boxing and judo and what ever does not ninjutsu this make!!!! I probably trained under brian longer that you have mate!. Its not Bujinkan it stoped being anything like that years ago.

My argument with the BBD IS NOT that what you do as a martial art is bad but what Brian calls it is incorrect.
He stopped learning anything from Hatsumi Sensei 19 yrs ago/1991he then only told the majority of the black belts about that in 1995/96(with a few exceptions who knew earlier) Deception/distraction = lies

look your about as open minded as a rock. its not bujinkan its bbd ok and styles develop as time passes and bbd. quote from massaki hatsumi "my ninjutsu changes every time i teach it" ninjutsu eveolves thats the whole idea of it. you cant expect the techniques from hundreds of years ago to be able to dal with all the situations we face in modern life.
also ill add that it was hatsumi who allowed brian to set up the bbd originally under bujinkan, so your actually lacking faith in your 'soke' , a man that we in the bbd are taught to respect and be open minded about. also hatsumi it was hatsumi himself who gave brian the 8th dan. if you dont trust 'brians lies' trust your own sokes judgement. im not saying you have to like it but you should learn that all styles have usefull knowledge that can be used
