Another way to kill a sim is if their not in your house hold invite them over. Than when there in you house make a box around them using build/buy. They'll soon die of starvation

Ways to kill your sim:

1) Make them lay on a bed and before they lay on it, delete it.

2) Make them work out until fatigued, then go to the pool nd make them splash people then they'll drown.

3) Lock them in a room.

4) Catch them on fire.

There are more ways but these are the things I do most.
