  • german language sucks

  • @Chinello7 yeah I think so, im happy to be german, learning english and spanish wasnt that hard, even icelandic not, but from outside my country I would hate to learn this language. Otherwise I dont know if there is another language poetic like ours (exept french and icelandic). And thats a big thing spoken by a german about french stuff xD

  • @TheMegaSatan german language is great don't say non-sense,Germany best country in the world.

  • @hilletehnoob How is he hating on the German language? He's trying to fucking say it's hard to learn, idiot.

  • @cocorockzmeh i tought he was one more of this germans with a self hate and self bashing complex so i sayed that.

  • @hilletehnoob Oh, alright. Sorry.

  • @Chinello7

  • I just started a German class this helped thanks! :D

  • Danke!!!!

  • Excellent video, danke :-)

  • "Wie geht es Ihnen?" is the formal way, use with strangers, someone we're not close, the old, prof....ect...-> Generally to show our respect to the person we talk with.

"Wie geht es dir/euch?" is the casual/informal way, use with friends, familiar...

    AM I RIGHT ???

  • @MoriAryka ja

  • @MoriAryka

    Yes,indeed :D

  • I don't care about the mistakes because I understood and learned some German haha well anyway gute nacht

  • Thanks ! i love German Language very much ! thanks you !

  • Hi, I just have one comment. I think your video is very good, but if I want to learn, I want to hear you repeat the phrases. Once is not enough.

    Danke schön :)

  • i think you should carefully correct your german don't rush yourself or don't be so excited to upload the video hehe joke ;)) but please check the mistakes out! i hope you'll do it better next time ;)

  • haha she said "you probably know one of the most INFAMOUS salutes in German" An INFAMOUS salute in Germany is probably one we shouldn't talk about!

  • @laurencec09 hahahaha

  • @karolino19 3:40 is wrong it should be changed =)

  • @GAMERKAZUYA and there is also a spelling mistake (Inhen => Ihnen[correct])

  • You have a good program ... but please do away with the back ground music.

  • Ughh the music is too laud!!! :(

  • blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah....boobs.

  • Awesome teaching.. thank you very much...

  • VERY helpful! Danke! :)

  • Great class, very helpful! Thanks!!

  • 2:46 said wei geht is ihnen is formal but on 3:42 it is informal...im confused

  • I think you meant 12 PM. (Technically 12 is M not PM or AM, but anyway...)

  • No she meant 12 noon. Technically 12 is not AM or PM, it is noon or midnight - the sun crosses a meridian.

  • @gandelve Yes, noon is 12 PM. Midnight is 12 AM. It is mixed up in the video (at 1:02). One would say Guten Morgen until noon, not until midnight. (Disregarding the technicalities of AM and PM at 12).

  • i understood everythig! danke

  • nice i love ur class

  • YOUR LESSON WOULD BE GREAT ...IF YOU DID NOT HAVE THE BACK GROUND MUSIC. THE MUSIC IS DISTRACTING.

  • 3:38 there is a mistake, its just the other way round:

Wie geht es Dir? is INFORMAL, Wie geht es Ihnen? is FORMAL.

  • here from Materia - Vershalt

  • hey, how do you say "greeting" in german?

  • @anikristo1 Grüßen for "to greet"(v.) or Gruß for "greeting"(n.)

  • @Adan1oN ok, but what about the word begruessen ??

  • @anikristo1 it means to welcome or to greet as well. The difference between "Grüßen" and "Begrüßen" is that "Grüßen" is used for example if you say hello to a random person on the street. "Begrüßen" on the other hand would describe you welcoming someone at your party; however the difference is VERY minor and even most Germans do not differentiate between the two terms. If you are learning German I recommend to use "Begrüßen".

  • @Adan1oN thank you very much!!! I'm actually learning German language as a foreign language and I'm just loving it.... thank you again...

  • @anikristo1 You are welcome :) Where are you from originally ? And its great that you want to learn another language keep it up

     (I hope I didn't make any mistake :P)

:) Oh and little thing: Nations are normally neuter in German so it is "ein kleines Land". But as I said keep it up!!

  • @Adan1oN Yes, I will keep it up, because I'm planning to finish my University studies in Germany..

P.S. I've been studying German for just 2 months... :)

Greeting, I wish you the best mate! :)

  • @anikristo1 Ty, take care man.

  • I read how to great people in german. What I expect to happend. Sie Hail /)

  • These videos are pretty good and informative!!!!

  • i hope i will do thai teaching video the same as you do soon.i love what you do here.

  • You say earlier on that 'Wie geht es Ihnen?' is formal, yet at the end of the video you say it's informal? Which is correct? If you want to start professional teaching, you need to check your videos before you show them to people

  • @TheRushingWind It's formal, and she never said it wasn't. If you listen and pay attention, you'd notice that she said "this is the informal" (talking about her convo using "dir"), then she says "And this is formal" and she uses Ihnen :p

  • @MrMole962 at 3:43 'Wi geht es Ihnen?' is clearly shown to be INformal. Looks like you're the one who should listen and pay attention, then you won't sound ignorant

  • @TheRushingWind OHH excuse ME. I was talking about the part at the end where she reviews everything she says exactly what I said. And i don't give a duck about whether I sound ignorant or not. Thank you very much.

  • I'm very glad that I found this vdo!!! :D Thank you so much!!! I will learn it everyday from your vdo from now on :))

  • I'm already learning german, but didn't learn about informal context yet. After watching this, i finally know informal context in German. Thanks for the lesson.:D

  • I just love German. I wanna learn it so bad. And I want to use it! But it's hard when you live in america where nobody speaks german, just english and spanish! :/

  • @IchliebeTokioHotel17 you wanna learn it cuz of Tokio Hotel, heh?

  • can you teach me how to say in german" I lost my dignity at Joe's Bar and Grille?"

  • @15CUJO I dont understand your sentence on German we would say something like

Ich verlor meine Würde an Joe's Bar (und Gitter)? or what O_o

I dont understand why you wanna know this :D

  • "12 am"...she meant to say, 12 pm....you'd say guten morgen until noon. #error

  • I'm German (my grandparents came from Germany) and this even boggles my mind! How is my Japanese better then my German??? I'm really close to my German side and I'm not even Japanese...so weird...

  • Thank you girls4teching

..you are doing a great job !!

and Eva is soo cute ..:DD

  • Great video, thanks for making it.

  • @WienOsterreich I correct it okay :D

Hallo Eva.

  • @TheZeitreisende Your obviously amused by our fails xD

  • please be seated teacher.

  • Vielen dank ! Eva.. this helps me a lot... did i notice it correct that at 3:44 the slide is incorrect...can u confirm this.. cheers!

  • @kvin2kool I also thing the slide is wrong. Instead, "Wie geht es Ihnen?" is the formal and "Wie geht es dir?" is the informal.

  • in german the letter G is prononced Gay

and the number 6 is prononoced zex

    fly like a G6

german:fly like a gay zex lol :D XD

  • @haloman117100 you are wrong.

you speak G like Geh not gay its an e! XD

  • @voodoofreak35

Don't ever ever do this in Germany!! Not even for fun! This was a common greeting while Hitler was in the power (not only Heil Hitler). They react VERY sensitively if not histerically when something goes in this direction, so you might get into trouble...

BTW liked your vid girl! But you aren't german are you?!

  • @Yatsukino she is! you can hear it. she has an accent ^^

  • This is good, lots in here to get started with.

  • Thanks! But I feel like a girl now...

  • Be careful, 12am is midnight:)

  • Comment removed

  • only shit ... nobody say that in germany ^^

  • if she speak a bit slow the german words would be great

  • So good......

  • Gostei muito da aula, obrigada! Danke!

  • @Silvapurry1 what is this for a language??

  • What about greeting "Moin"?

  • @siwka1988

"Moin" works at every daytime, but only in Northern Germany.

  • Thanks for answering HesseJamez :)

  • danke but there is like no way I can learn this especially on YouTube but danke

  • thx for the video, but i recommend if u say the german words two times, one slow and the other fast.. danke

  • Awesome! Congratulations! It is helping me a lot

  • eva you are so hot and smart...anyway thanks a lot for your wonderful video

however it seems that you directed it for girls... regards cutie!!

  • 0 Dislikes ??? damn now I feel redundant XP

  • Until 12 am? you mean pm?

  • DANKESCHÖN For the video, it helped me a lot, i will watch the next lessons and learn more.

  • a big help with my learning german course , danke

  • Is it wrong if im a man??i mean i see that the lessons are really usefull but its like everything is for the girls.

  • @wantedwanted21 I don't think it is for girls if you were to say "yeah! see you in the morning" , after a good game of football , it's all in how you voice that as a male ,if you want to add dude to it then that's what you'd do , it's not her perogative to suggest how you carry youself nor should it be .peace

  • Is it appropriate to greet people with Sieg Heil? :)

  • @Voodoofreak35 It means Heil Victory so greeting someone with that would be confusing.

Doug. from USA
