Exorcism is for people with problems in there life or "psychological" problems then when there friends and family desert them for having "evil spirits" they go to the church and lets some umpalumpa perform a ritual to "cure" them, for the moment they feel they have been cured and go home.

Exorcism is for people with problems in there life or "psychological" problems then when there friends and family desert them for having "evil spirits" they go to the church and lets some umpalumpa perform a ritual to "cure" them, for the moment they feel they have been cured and go home.

I would have a fear of the church if something really horrible and unspeakable happened that I endured, which involved the church.
And I think this could have been in Ukraine, because one of the old ladies were talking in Ukrainian. Parts of Ukraine still have a lot of people who talk in Russian most of the time.

She probably was cured, but because during the exorcism she probably got used to the church. This is what some psychologists during therapy of patients with anxiety disorders such as phobias. This method is called systematic desensitization. It doesn't always work, but neither do exorcisms.
I don't know about other exorcisms, and I don't disbelieve this stuff. But in this case she wasn't possessed if she only had a fear of the church.

Ummm...she was having a panic attack because she had a phobia of crosses and holy water. And the exorcists thought that her fear was because there was a demon inside her.
However, if you have any knowledge of psychology, phobias can result from stressful events of the past - as in something bad occurring when she saw or was reminded of anything in the church.

Just thought I'd clear that up before mentioning the fact that I am highly educated and have researched this subject exstensively as I find it interesting. I also believe that it is true however some cases are religious propaganda some are plea's for attention and some I have no idea why they faked it.
