"A Beast Am I" tells of Fenrir, the wolf who devours Odin, and "Destroyer Of The Universe" is about the fire giant Surtur who rises towards the end and destroys everything, only to fall himself so the world can replensih itself and life can start again. it's all cyclical: shit happens, everyone dies, then the gods die, then it starts over.

@Unfortunateguy17 in Norse mythology the gods aren't really "gods" in the modern sense of the word, as in, these are gods that are bound by the limitations of their realm and vulverable to threats within that realm. there are lots of stories of Thor and the battles he would get in, and the injuries incurred during said battles. also, Loki decieved almost all of the gods of Asgaard at some point or another (remember bound by limitation).
