  • @xxcrysad3000xx Nice!

  • Loving this, you may not have millions of views, but your giving everyone fantastic lessons for free, and creating better guitarists worldwide. Im from scotland, And thank you for all of them ^_^

  • @andythedood You're most welcome! Thanks for taking the time to write.

  • @dhamburger1 i, much like andythedude am from Scotland, just recently got in to Jazz (im 20 years old, i got brought up listening to metal) by listening to Guthrie Govan and i came across your vids, they are incredibly helpful, i literally cannot watch any of your vids without the need to pick up my guitar afterwards! Thank you David! =]

  • It's great you post your new licks, I always watch them and show them to other teachers in our shop, I also just started getting into bebop scales after 33 yrs of playing, just have to be careful how you use them, I've become a chromatic style player lately, look forward to your next lesson!

  • @13COU Yes, they're a lot of fun. The trick seems to be to fold them into the rest of your phrasing and vocabulary without starting to sound like a typewriter...

  • @dhamburger1 Very true, that's why I always tell my students to express them self through the notes, great example: Keith Richards will never sound like Chuck Berry and vice-verse, play accurately, fluently and with feel...have a good one Dave!

  • What amp are you playing through, Mr H? I have a tele, would love to get your sound.

  • @vdeferens Thanks! I'm actually using an amp simulation I dialed in using plugins that ship with Digital Performer 7. Live, I use that Deluxe you can see behind me in the video, but as far as shooting these go, it's just a hot-looking ukulele stand.

  • You make everything seem so effortless.......

  • Another good one, nice you're using a tele for these things !

  • The most easy technical lessons you can find.

  • Im sorry but now im hungry... But good vid!

  • Tab PLeaseeeee

  • It seemed so easy... until it hit 0:25 ...

  • quite a delicious lick.

  • great method of teaching.

  • cool lick!

  • One of the best teachers I've found on Youtube very straight forward most teachers take forever to show you just one thing

  • i love you david hamburger
