its hard to pick the favourite. aur ho, nadan parinday, phir se ud chala, tum ho,kun faya kun,hawa hawa are amongst the top followed by jo bhi main,sheher mein,tum ko than sadda haq,,lastly katiya karoon.and instrumentals are brilliant and creative talent of musician can be judged only by his instrumental any body likes of vsha shekar, or pritam or sel can give hits with simple catchy time and tested copied tunes and vulgar lyrics but only talented ARR can give amazing instrumentals

this album is a clear proof why rahman is a musical genius never b4 heard melodies completely different unpredictable song structures and sound ,experimentaion at its best .Aur Ho what a song no composer on earth can compose that kind of song it can put even sting desert rose to shame, tum ho , phir se ud chala,jo bhi main, hawa hawa, masterpiece.sheher mein is a clear example of how rahman musical mind works abhijeet chor vs mohit chauhan only genius rahman thinks of modulating karthiks vioice.

m not gonna lie.. the first time i heard the album i was disappointed too but then the songs had this magical effect on me now this album on repeat i even listen to them while working out... especially sadda haq i get this angry feeling which boosts my calorie burning capacity 100 fold love u ARR u are awesome and the cherry on the cake is Ranbir.. who knows 'Act' in acting.. doubtful bout the female lead of the film though but all the best to the cast and crew of Rockstar!!

Tell me truthfully when you first saw the trailer didnt you expect the movie to have rock songs? Well i did too. So i'm a little disappointed for getiing just a single song that can fit into the rock genre. I know AR's songs take some time to get used to but lately....you know i am starting to think he's changing his style so that the global audience likes his music. I dont like that. :(

Unfortunately our Indian directors stuck with their 'Romantic Numbers', especially this director 'Imitiaz Ali',who is famous for these kind of movies.A.R .Rahman is meant to make any kind of music,at will.

Rockstar is easily one of the coolest albums of recent times. There is kind of a Mohit Chauhan overload, but obviously they wanted Ranbir to have a single voice throughout the film, which is actually a very good move. And yeah, we all know who the actual rockstar is :)
