Your statement is not supported by real world facts. Fact is Forza has been unable to outsell any of the Gran Turismo games. GT5 is the highest selling racing sim since that is the racing sim fans want to play. Forza is second place to Gran Turismo. There is you're opinion using scores but it does not reflect in sales. Racing sim fans wants GT not Forza.

In fact PD pretty much covered the cost of development with the sales of GT5 Prologue. GT5 sales was bonus. Forza has failed to take the majority of the sim racer crown despite it's Meta score. Fans want GT5. If they really wanted Forza 4 then it would of sold more than GT5. In the end after four attempts Forza had failed.

ODST should even be AA in my opinion but that is besides the point. Also Forza is far from quality, GT has overwhelming support from companies such as Lexus, Audi, Toyota, and Nissan. In fact the quality is so amazing Nissan selected a PROFESSIONAL race driver for NISSAN based on skills in GT. Forza does not do that.

The title should be GeneralMLD is irrelevant. Poorza series sold more than GT combined? Don't think so. You forgot about GT5 Prolouge, yeah it was basically a demo but fans had to pay full price for it. I'm willing to bet Poorza 3 and 4 got higher only because of the online features. We all know Western reviewers only care about online and the usual moneyhatting from M$ for good scores. Funny you call GT PSP a flop since it has more cars than Poorza 4 on a single UMD vs. 90 new cars on 2 discs.

In all honesty, I'd rather pay $60 for 1 racing sim that will last me many years, than for 3 games with only minor improvements from one to the next. There's no denying the fact that GT5 could have been better, but at the same time, there doesn't need to be a new Forza game every 2 years either.

I can agree with the for the most part. Even as a PS3 fanboy, it`s pretty sad that there are 3 90+ Forzas as opposed to one GT that many consider a letdown.
But to say Forza is more relevant because of their combined sales is beyond stupid. Pumping out more games =/= relevance in any way. GT5 proved that GT still the better seller, no getting around that.

i mean, i've played forza, and I LOVE IT. But gt5 is good game too. I know, that polyphony should have put all that content on the game on start, but the game has a lot of content even if u don't patch it, forza doesn't need patches because it doesn't have as much content as gt5, but that's the main problem, gt5 more content=less quality

It doesn't matter ps3 guys are not real big on facts.I keep hearing about ps3 exclusives i rented Kz3 and Un3 and Re3.I was trying to find something besides Cod i paid for the Bs online passes and big surprise the multiplayer in all are ghost towns Kz3 no one was playing Re3 had a few thousand and my favorite Un3 had a few thousand i put in Mw3 on ps3 it has over 900,000 people playing WTF.PLAY YOUR FUCKING GAMES.

FM = 3 + 4 + 1.41 = 8.41 million
Whats funny is how GT5 nearly outsold the entire Forza franchise in less than one year.
