@MrAugustus - democracy isn't shameful. what oligarchies do under the banner of democracy is shameful
@mtakman - Greeks work just as hard as other countries. they are just not slaves to work and know that a walk to the cafe, a drink at a club, meeting friends out in public is just as crucial to their health as work is to their finances. Living a pigeon hole existence isn't an example or a prerequisite of hard work....
We have to understand that EU is a failed body. EU is harmful for Greece. 1) No democracy. Everything is controlled by Brussels. There is no Greek government but a European capitalist giant. 2) The economy is controlled by big global banks and they push us to spend for guns and participate in Middle East wars 3) Under the Lisboa treaty expect the foreign country principle, more repression, more police brutality, more state control
The EU doesnt need to be a failed body. It is simply structured at the moment for the powermongers to milk the populace. It was designed for that purpose and it is executed for that purpose under the guise of unity. True unity allows the freedom of culture so that our diverse ways of life are protected. There is no reason why it cant happen under the banner of a unified EU minus the economic traps that enslave us and the political correctness that makes faceless clones of us all
EU political correctness is nothing more but an attempt to force us their right wing propaganda and convince us to stop fighting for our rights. You know they control us and know everything about us. There are CCTVs everywhere. Culture has nothing to do with economy. The whole concept was made to manipulate the south European countries like Greece, Spain, Portugal. It is the Europe of two directions. The weak south, the servants and the rich north, the bosses
in regards to Greece the situation is precarious. We have a large amount of illegal immigrants and an equal amount of economic ones. The order of taking over a country is three fold. 1. corrupt the government. if the government cannot be corrupted then 2. get rid of the goverment and install one that is more in tune with your aims. if that isnt achieved 3. send in the military.... do you want Greece to be cut up under the pretence of protecting a fake suppressed migrant?
Immigrants SHOULD be welcomed EVERYWHERE. The boarders are nothing more but an attempt to control us and divide us. Greece suffers from conservatives and fascists. We need to get out from the EU asap. Corruption is everywhere. In Greece might be higher cause we should not allow these crooks in power. We all knew that but we did nothing. There were signs that the economy will collapse. Anyway, better act now than never
No i do not agree with you. Immigrants should not be welcomed everywhere. Immigrants should be allowed to live in safety and prosperity in their own country yet I hear no one condemning the US foreign policy or the actions of the banking elite that has destroyed these peoples countries and necessitated their migration into mine.
@MWTheFox I do not want my countries demographics changed. I do not want to force the muslim faith on a people who fought and died to be rid of its oppression. They are more than welcomed as tourists and will be treated with the same respect and courtesy afforded all people who come to see the beauty, lifestyle and history of Greece but when they need to strangle my people in order for theirs to survive because a handful of bankers are maximizing profits then my disagreement will be vocal
You are wrong, you can't be anti-capitalist and patriotic together. Patriotism is a con. It is a tactic to divide us because without patriotism, the gun industry would have collapsed. The whole idea of nationalism is wrong and it serves no one but the elites. There is not such a thing like your culture and my culture as I think that religion is nothing more but a tool to manipulate the masses, the opium of the people.
who said i am anti capitalist? I am anti control of the majority for the profit of the minority. what has that got to do with nationalism? to love my roots? to love my culture? how are communists who swear allegiance to the communist ideas any different to me who swears allegiance to the ideologies of Greece? come on MW lets not fool ourselves by pretending one differs from the other
I am an immigrant as well, and I think that all the borders should be removed. Then we will have peace. But I agree that in the current situation the main problem is the US foreign policy. They have destroyed the Middle East so the people have no choice instead of emigrating. This is the root of the problem and not what I or you believe.
there will never be peace without borders. that is the ridiculous notion they put on your head to make you a number....colorless, odorless, faceless and lacklustre
please dont think i am talking with disrespect. I respect all ideas. but if you are to push an ideology of equality onto everyone think first what this entails...
and here is a thought for you....
in order to treat everyone equally we must treat everyone differently because we ARE NOT equal
I am Greek as well. I don't want to impose my ideas to others. If I wanted I would not continue this light conversation here. I would rather go to take over the parliament with the tanks but this is not what I want. You can't pretend to be an anarchist and want to ban freedom of speech, this is against my principles and I fight not only for my right to say what I want but also for your right to speak freely even if you are against the freedom of speech. Giati den milame ellinika?
@MWTheFox there are a few things I would like to discuss with you if that is ok with you. Would you be willing for me to add you and to have a civil conversation in pm. There are some things I would really like to clarify as to beliefs ideologies and intent. I would really appreciate it.
And I can show you cops dressed as anarchists in order to provoke. I don't mean there are no bad anarchists (mpaxalakides). NOTE: Because some people have problems contacting me with pm I have added you to my friend list cause this is the only way it works. Ke grafe mou sta ellinika vasika. Metaksi mas eimaste
"I am anti control of the majority for the profit of the minority" and what do you suggest cause capitalism is made as for the few to oppress the many. I don't say that communism is the solution. I am anarchist and I view both Stalinism and fascism as the same oppressive methods who have failed. You can't be Greek and anti-immigrant. Most of our people live abroad and most of our young children have no future in Greece, so they will have to emigrate
i cannot answer you on anarchists at the moment as I am in the midst of studying their ideology and history which I have found to be fascinating. I can tell you one thing though with clarity and definitiveness. You are being used as tools to create the chaos the same elite you condemn need to push forward with their agenda. that is a fact
"You are being used as tools to create the chaos the same elite you condemn need to push forward with their agenda. that is a fact " can you prove it? How somebody can use me who I don't belong to any political party, I am not involved with any circle? Anarchism does not mean chaos, it simply means not hierarchy. And there is not such a thing like anarchism at 100%. If I agree with something I don't care if it is anarchism or socialism or third way etc etc...
I agree we must rise up but in rising up lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Know who your enemy is, unite with your neighbors, then shut each country down economically until a carefully planned and fair infrastructure is agreed upon. One that holds the rich banking elite economically accountable for developing the infrastructure of each country they profit from....
There are many ways to rise up. I think the best is to act depending on the circumstances and not pre-schedule your activities. The second is dangerous cause it allows crooks to take advantage
@omadeon - brilliant
