I really hate it when i have this nightmare. It's repeated itself somehow over and Over an OVER AGAIN but never continues!!! I couldn't wake up or scream as I was turning the corner in some house that I've been in before but can't recall . but before I turned the corner someone came face to face with me. I always get this bad feeling about this person but i cant stop walking towards that corner.I always try to wake up or scream for someone to help me in real life but It. won't. let. me.
Your dream actually reminds me of when I was younger. When I was 8 I was hanging outside my house playing and all of a sudden there was this white wolf behind me. I was so scared I couldnt do anything for a few seconds. Then I finally was able to run into my house.

I had a nightmare where this women was chasing me and she was holding a knife and there was no one to help me and I couldn't call out to anybody and I finally somehow got home and ran inside.Then I noticed that all the doors were open! So I turned around to shut the garage door and when I opened it the women was right there! I slammed it and then ran to all the other doors to lock them. I tried to call 911 but it went to voicemail!And I could here this women outside and I couldnt scream for help
i keep having dreams where i'm trying to run away from something but my legs wont work right its like i'm running thru pudding. when i was little i had night terrors(no i dont mean nightmares) id wake up screaming and crying or some other crazy thing you are supposed to do while sleeping like sitting up in bed and hitting my head against the walll

As for the question, I was swimming with my family, it was windy, means big waves. there is no sand, just rocks, slippery rocks. I tried getting out but got slammed by waves into rocks... hehe, I couldn't scream because of the water.
In my dream I am at this hotel. In the main lobby a rollercoaster goes through it & ends at a wall & for some reason there are 3 aliens, 1 who I am friends with & the other 2 are evil & some how I end up trapped at the end of the rollercoaster with my friend & the other 2 aliens are coming for us, I am frozen, wanting to wake up. Then I wake up in a dream, one of those you think you are awake but you are actually still asleep dreams & I am frozen & can't move or breathe or speak. Then I wake up!
uhhh, i went on a rollercoaster and i was completely silent up until the loop, during with i was screaming a very simple swear word with a very long i in it.
but i did once have a dream where Severus snape was dancing in front of me. THAT is scary.

After losing my mother and living with my dad who I love but who gets on my nerves and balancing trying to be an independent graduate of a grad school while helping care for autistic brother, I get scared but it is hard to tell someone about it, so that's like holding in screaming when I'm scared.

I had a dream that.... one morning i woke up and i went out to the kitchen and got a milo. Then i walked into the dinning room and i look out the window and i see a huge wave coming for my house and i just stand there and i cant move then the wave comes crashing into my house but the water stayed in the house, it didnt drain away. then a shark came swimming up to me (by the way im still in the house) and it ate me!! it was really scary!!
omg once in a dream ( i was really little dont laugh) pirates were invading my house, and i then a dinosaur was chasing me around me kitchen and then i ran into the bathroom and shut the door and there was this movie-esque moment where nothing happened and then the dino crashed through the door and even though my parents were right in the other room (ighting the pirates) i couldnt scream for help and then i was like "eehhnnn...." yeah.

I have a terrifying sort of recurring dream that i am the last person alive but everyone else has beenturned into monsters i am legend style and im running down an alley being pursued. i get to a dead end and when i turn around everyone's after me. i always wake up before the end though thank god.
A few years ago I had a dream that I was walking across my basement and I felt that there was something that I shouldn't see in the fruit cellar part but I continued. When I walked in there was a little girl with her back toward me wearing a victorian gown with long, dark, blooded matted hair and when she turned to look at me, I saw that her finger nails had been pulled out and the tips of her fingers were bloody and where her eyes should be were just small, wooden balls in the sockets.
with guides, we were sleeping in the war plane museum under these planes, and a few friends and i woke up in the middle of the night to explore, but we saw some weird shadows and heard footsteps so we ran back to the group. We couldn't scream cuz we didnt wanna wake everyone up and get caught. I've never run so fast in my life :P
I had a dream when I was 10ish that one of my walls was completely off and exposed to the outside and a woman kept bring in snakes and having me hold them (my greatest fear around that age was snakes still pretty scared of them) and she kept putting more and more huge snakes all over me but I was so scared I just stood there and didnt say anything then they all started biting me and I woke up and cried.

[age 7: dream] so i was walking down the street with rudolfp the red nose rainder and he was all ghetto. when suddenly there was this bulldog that came out of the ally! rudolf looked at him, then at me and said "go on without me." so i did. later that day i got a slice of peporoni pizza, when i heard weird sounds from the kicthen, so i investigate, and there he is, Rudofl with half his body chopped of, guts hanging out, rolling around on the floor yelling "don't eat the pepperoni!" grosss
un-luckily for me i have scary dreams all the time... the most memorable one has to be when i was held hostage in some parking lot (who knows why) and whoever was there held a knife to my neck and i could have sworn that i could feel the cold metal against my skin....
Yes! I recently had a dream where i was being attacked by canibles. At first I was running away from them & swimming away from them, but in the middle of the lake I was spent and & was so afraid that I couldn't move. The last thing I saw was a brunette girl in a purple shirt with fangs right infront of me (along with other blood-thirsty canabls). By far the freakiest dream I have ever had!

Well......i once had a dream that i was just walking around a weird forest-like location.There was a cave , that i had stopped to look at and out of it shined 3 pairs of red eyes.I started running then i looked back and there were 3 huge red-eyed wolves chasing me, i cudn't scream but i just kept running until i was cornered at the top of the edge of a mountain and then....i woke up...
the crazy thing is i was ALMOST attacked by five wolves, last summer i went up to the northern states and me and my cousin were walking along by the edges of a forest and somehow decided to go into the forest, we got kinda lost and wolves came out of nowhere and almost ate us, but thankfully this weird type bird like cawed and flew heck close to us and the wolves retreated a bit, so we got to slip away, &then we ran into forest rangers, thats my situation in a nutshell. soo much more happened..

Once when I was around 10 I had a dream after whaching an episode of the old Sci Fi show Andromida.
The world was over run by Maggog (hairy aliens that inject you with babies who eat there way out of you). They were attacking everyone, eating people, and I couldn't do anything.
The actual show wasn't that bad(child's imagination at work).

I had this dream, when I was in a world that was filled with dark clouds and a purple and black castle. I was called to the castle and I was standing in front of the king. He was dressed in a birght White Robeand a golden crown. His henchman took me to a guillotine where my family was. They were all beheaded and I could't scream. I was breathless. Then I woke up and fell back asleep.
I had this dream once, when I was 8. It was on top of a waterfall, and I was sitting in a cave that had a view of the waterfall. One at a time, random strangers simply walked off the edge of the waterfall and fell to their death. I was so frightened, wondering why they were doing this. Then comes along my family, even my dog. One by one, they walk off the waterfall. At this point, I wanted to burst out screaming, telling them to stop.... but I couldn't.
I once had this dream that i went to this wierd church castle place and i met this creepy old woman who had these really huge henchmen and would cut off the heads of any girls that was prettier than her. I couldnt scream and i woke up unfortunatly with the memory of the sound that the axe made. It Was Pretty creepy! Im glad i dont have dreams like that anymore. Haha. :-)

Once, whe I was like 5 years old, I dreamed that I was at school, beeing chased by a giant eyeball. Mhm. Everyone just ran around trying to find a new place to hide, but then The eyeball rolled over it and destroyed it, so we had to run around all over school. However, no one was actually screaming.
When I was about 10 I had a dream that I was drowning in some type of swamp. In real life, I swim very well, but for some reason in the dream I could barely tread water. I was so scared of drowning that when I opened my mouth to yell for help, nothing came out.

When I was a little girl I was sleeping over my grandmothers and had this horrifying dream. I woke up [or at least in the dream I did] and these two [maybe three] alien creatures were slowly walking towards me. I was so scared I couldn't scream or move. Everything looked like the real world. Not being able to get my grandmother to wake up was also horrifying, considering she was in the bed right next to mine. I've blocked most of the dream out, thats how horrified I was at the time.

I had a dream when I was six that my mom took me to a boarding school and I had to wear a weird uniform. I didn't want to wear it after trying it on, so my mom went in the stall to get my clothes. She opened the stalls door, and out jumped 2 girl vampires. They tied her up and took her to the main room. They made me watch as the head mistress cut her head off. I was so terrified that when I woke up I ran to make sure my mom still had her head on!
I actually cannot scream in dreams, to my knowledge. Sometimes I can't even talk in dreams. In real life, I cannot force myself to scream, and only on occasions when I am scared out of my wits can I actually scream in real life.
If you walk up to me on the street and asked me to scream, I would be unable to do it. However, if you came up behind me on the street and put your arms around my neck, I would probably scream, and then turn around and punch your face.
When I was about four, I had a dream where I was sitting next to my mom, and I knew something was just off. She started wearing only yellow, and smiling ALL THE TIME. Toward the end of the dream (as I was sitting beside her) she began to morph into this disgusting green oozy man thing. I was absolutely horrified, I just stared, and couldn't do anything else. It took what seemed like forever to wake up, and I didn't go back to sleep.

I once had a verry scary dream... It doesn't sound that bad but in that dream I feared for my life. I was dreaming that I was sitting at the desk with my laptop which suddenly fell on my head... it was too heavy for me so I ended up struggeling with this laptop over my head. I couldn't hold it any longer and suddenly my two best friends appeared... I was begging them to help me and cried for them. my voice sounded terrifying. :( and then I woke up and realized that my bookshelf had fallen on me.
I can't remember anything where I specifically couldn't scream, but I remember a dream where I was stuck in a maze with really high walls and the walls curved in at the top so I could only see a sliver of the sky and it was daytime and I know that I was really far away from people, so if i had screamed, no one could hear me.

As a kid, I had quite a few scary dreams where I couldn't scream. Not that I was so scared I couldn't scream, but where I was physically incapable of screaming - tried and tried and no sound came out. I always hated those dreams. There were always people around, but because I couldn't make any noise, I couldn't alert them to the fact that I was about to be killed by something or other.

I once had a dream where I was walking down a road at night, totally pitch black, I could hardly see. But I saw a burning building, and as I approached, I witnessed two phantom creatures fighting. I was in total awe, I just stood there, motionless. But while I was watching, a giant spider crept towards me. I was to terrified I could not scream or run, and as the spider leaped, I woke up.

When I was about six, I had a recurring dream where my parents were walking down the sidewalk at night, and they wouldn't wait for me. For some reason, I couldn't walk faster than slow-motion, and I couldn't make any noise but a hoarse whisper.

I've been in two situations, in real life, AND in a dream. My dream was really weird though. It was about this books series called City of Bones (Mortal Instruments Series. AMAZING!) and Jace was in there, but he wasn't acting like jace. he was acting like Sebastian and then he starts to go all evil and tries to kill me and then he drags me away and I can't scream. Really awkward. And then in real life, a police officer started stalking us around at the Southlands mall. I got really creeped out.

It was horrible. then they walked over to me and right before they stabbed me I woke up and I was on the floor of my living room, though I fell asleep in my bed. It was scary. My house had three stories, and it was flooding, but I was the only one to notice, I was drowning my laptop died (and stuff), and I was dying from lack of oxygen, then I finally figured out how to let out the water. It was more detailed and much more terrifying. I didn't realize that it was a dream until I jerked awake. *shudders*
Yeah I was selling lemonade with my friend in my front yard and this gothic teenager came up to me and told me that she found my lost dog... which was weird, since I didn't have I dog, and then she grabbed me and I told my friend to help but she just stood there and didn't do anything while I was being dragged away. I couldn't scream or anything and then I woke up as the girl was dragging me into her car. And it's odd cuz this was happening all in my front yard, so my parents could have helped..
a kinda scary situation with a teacher of mine. I came back from a music competittion where I won the first price. I entered my class room... well and she began to critisise me for over an hour, like how she would have never given me this price and so on I didn't say anything and she just talked and talked... I was so hurt and shocked that I couldn't say stop... couldn't fight back... I just was kinda paralysed..
I have had this dream about once a year since I was about three. I'm in a car with Mickey and Minnie mouse, the dream is in black and white, and I'm sitting in the back seat. We stop at a gas station for something, Mickey gets out, and we hear a gunshot. We get out, run inside to see Mickey shot, and with his dying breath he tells Minnie to take me to the big house on the hill to keep me safe. Then, like a movie, the picture flashes to it and lightening strikes.
OMG YES!!! I used To have This Dreams when I was 12 & 14. One was that I feel from a really tall building, the other that something was chasing me & while I run for my life I coundt scream not even say a word to call for help!!!
here's an answer....ive always had nightmares but ive never woke up scream...never..iv noticed i just open my eyes and not quickly but just open them and my heart is never pounding but i was terrified of it...ive never actually been scared enough to scream i handle things calmly i dont know y i just dont panic...

I had a dream where the moon turned red and anyone who looked at it went crazy and tried to eat everyone and somehow I had made it to my school and was hiding in the girls locker room where some other girls where there as well and then the zombie people broke in and tried to eat us but before that happened i woke up!
About two years ago I was walking from the trainstation it was winter and dark outside. To get out from the trainstation you have to walk through a tunnel that goes either right or left. Everyone else took the left one while I takes the right one, cause thats the closest way out for me. So Im walking through the tunnel listening to my iPod when suddenly someone grabs my arm. I jump around and theres this huge black guy holding onto me and says Come with me so we can talk for a bit
and Im like No, I dont think thats a good idea, in fact I dont even know you?. He just smirks and continues (still holding onto my arm, even harder now) Cmon I just wanna have a nice conversations with you, you dont even have to say anything, Ill handle everything and Im like "No I dont want to go with you, I just wanna go home now (Note: Its only him and me in that tunnel) Then he starts to drag me into a dark alley of some sorts but I fight back.
I wanted to scream for help or just say anything but my voice was gone. I was in shock and the only thing I could do was stammer no and trying to pull away my arm, but he was so much bigger and stronger than me! And just when I started to think that this is the end, Im going to get raped and killed here, my cell phone started to ring and he is startled or something, but I dont care cause in that little moment he lost his focus, his grip on my arm looses and I can pull my arm away
I just started to run the other way back to where there is people. Where I know Im safe. He didnt follow me. When I know Im safe and stands where a lots of people are I look to see who was ringing and it was my mom wondering if I needed a ride home. And I just started to cry and begged her to come as soon as possible and get me. I told her everything that happened when I was safely in her arms in her car and she started to cry with me and soothing me.
When she asked if I saw his face my mind just got completely blank. I could not remember what he looked like! (he was wearing tanned glasses and a scarf covering his face so I didnt get a good look, other than that he was black and tall and there is a lot of black and tall guys in this world). But we did a registration at the police and they tried to look for him, but didnt find anything. I never meet him again and for that Im glad. I just hope that he didnt find another victim.
There wasnt anything on the news so I guess it was a onetime thing for him or something.
But I just cant help but wondering what if my mother hadnt called me in that moment? Would I still be here today? I cant help but wonder, but I try not to think about it. Now I just live in the moment and take each day as it comes. Life is to meaningful to wander around and just think What if?.
I had a dream 7 or 8 years ago that I had to share my bedroom with a terrorist (because my parents didn't know he was a terrorist, of course) and he woke me up in the middle of the night threatening to kill me.

About a year before 9/11 I started having dreams of seeing a plane crash into a building about once every month. I was standing on a busy street and I see a plane brutally crash into a large tower above me. I always stand yelling and screaming trying to get someone to help, I grab and once I mauled a person trying to get them to pay attention but I just get awkward stares. As if it's not there. It doesn't sound that scary but I always wake screaming. Yeah 9/11 got me bad.

I really hate it when i have this nightmare. It's repeated itself somehow over and Over an OVER AGAIN but never continues!!! I couldn't wake up or scream as I was turning the corner in some house that I've been in before but can't recall . but before I turned the corner someone came face to face with me. I always get this bad feeling about this person but i cant stop walking towards that corner.I always try to wake up or scream for someone to help me in real life but It. won't. let. me.

Your dream actually reminds me of when I was younger. When I was 8 I was hanging outside my house playing and all of a sudden there was this white wolf behind me. I was so scared I couldnt do anything for a few seconds. Then I finally was able to run into my house.
Ironically, wolves are now my favourite animals. lol. Little anecdote for you

I had a nightmare where this women was chasing me and she was holding a knife and there was no one to help me and I couldn't call out to anybody and I finally somehow got home and ran inside.Then I noticed that all the doors were open! So I turned around to shut the garage door and when I opened it the women was right there! I slammed it and then ran to all the other doors to lock them. I tried to call 911 but it went to voicemail!And I could here this women outside and I couldnt scream for help

i keep having dreams where i'm trying to run away from something but my legs wont work right its like i'm running thru pudding. when i was little i had night terrors(no i dont mean nightmares) id wake up screaming and crying or some other crazy thing you are supposed to do while sleeping like sitting up in bed and hitting my head against the walll

just got shiver so I am a bit behind... but I have been so scared I haven't been able to scream! A few years ago my brother was driving us home from a concert and he rolled our vehicle. I was so scared I couldn't scream. It also happened really fast so I didn't have time to scream. :) Don't worry, we were (mostly) fine!

I loved this book, Anything with werewolves is good, I lent it out, and now I can not find it. It was such a good book. Oh well, that is what I get for lending out my book. Great Video and cannot wait for the second book.
As for the question, I was swimming with my family, it was windy, means big waves. there is no sand, just rocks, slippery rocks. I tried getting out but got slammed by waves into rocks... hehe, I couldn't scream because of the water.

In my dream I am at this hotel. In the main lobby a rollercoaster goes through it & ends at a wall & for some reason there are 3 aliens, 1 who I am friends with & the other 2 are evil & some how I end up trapped at the end of the rollercoaster with my friend & the other 2 aliens are coming for us, I am frozen, wanting to wake up. Then I wake up in a dream, one of those you think you are awake but you are actually still asleep dreams & I am frozen & can't move or breathe or speak. Then I wake up!

So glad I'm reading another book with you! Let's see, I'm not Bella Swan, but I'm not a screamer either. I do suffer in silence. After losing my mother and living with my dad who I love but who gets on my nerves and balancing trying to be an independent graduate of a grad school while helping care for autistic brother, I get scared but it is hard to tell someone about it, so that's like holding in screaming when I'm scared.

I had a dream that.... one morning i woke up and i went out to the kitchen and got a milo. Then i walked into the dinning room and i look out the window and i see a huge wave coming for my house and i just stand there and i cant move then the wave comes crashing into my house but the water stayed in the house, it didnt drain away. then a shark came swimming up to me (by the way im still in the house) and it ate me!! it was really scary!!

omg once in a dream ( i was really little dont laugh) pirates were invading my house, and i then a dinosaur was chasing me around me kitchen and then i ran into the bathroom and shut the door and there was this movie-esque moment where nothing happened and then the dino crashed through the door and even though my parents were right in the other room (ighting the pirates) i couldnt scream for help and then i was like "eehhnnn...." yeah.

I have a terrifying sort of recurring dream that i am the last person alive but everyone else has beenturned into monsters i am legend style and im running down an alley being pursued. i get to a dead end and when i turn around everyone's after me. i always wake up before the end though thank god.

A few years ago I had a dream that I was walking across my basement and I felt that there was something that I shouldn't see in the fruit cellar part but I continued. When I walked in there was a little girl with her back toward me wearing a victorian gown with long, dark, blooded matted hair and when she turned to look at me, I saw that her finger nails had been pulled out and the tips of her fingers were bloody and where her eyes should be were just small, wooden balls in the sockets.

I had a dream when I was 10ish that one of my walls was completely off and exposed to the outside and a woman kept bring in snakes and having me hold them (my greatest fear around that age was snakes still pretty scared of them) and she kept putting more and more huge snakes all over me but I was so scared I just stood there and didnt say anything then they all started biting me and I woke up and cried.

I had a dream once where Aliens were invading the earth and my family and I ran to a mansion on the side of a cliff. My niece and I were running and then an Alien attacked, she kind of reminded me of Ursula in The Little Mermaid..yeah. But she had my niece in her arms and I fell down the cliff. Then I was walking w/my family and the government across the lawn with all these gurneys of dead ppl, and one gurney was my niece, decapitated. I think I was allowed to watch xfiles too much as a kid O_0

Yes! I recently had a dream where i was being attacked by canibles. At first I was running away from them & swimming away from them, but in the middle of the lake I was spent and & was so afraid that I couldn't move. The last thing I saw was a brunette girl in a purple shirt with fangs right infront of me (along with other blood-thirsty canabls). By far the freakiest dream I have ever had!

the crazy thing is i was ALMOST attacked by five wolves, last summer i went up to the northern states and me and my cousin were walking along by the edges of a forest and somehow decided to go into the forest, we got kinda lost and wolves came out of nowhere and almost ate us, but thankfully this weird type bird like cawed and flew heck close to us and the wolves retreated a bit, so we got to slip away, &then we ran into forest rangers, thats my situation in a nutshell. soo much more happened..

Once when I was around 10 I had a dream after whaching an episode of the old Sci Fi show Andromida.
The world was over run by Maggog (hairy aliens that inject you with babies who eat there way out of you). They were attacking everyone, eating people, and I couldn't do anything.
The actual show wasn't that bad(child's imagination at work).
That's what I get for not leaving the room when things started getting creapy.

I had this dream, when I was in a world that was filled with dark clouds and a purple and black castle. I was called to the castle and I was standing in front of the king. He was dressed in a birght White Robeand a golden crown. His henchman took me to a guillotine where my family was. They were all beheaded and I could't scream. I was breathless. I had this dream once, when I was 8. It was on top of a waterfall, and I was sitting in a cave that had a view of the waterfall. One at a time, random strangers simply walked off the edge of the waterfall and fell to their death. I was so frightened, wondering why they were doing this. Then comes along my family, even my dog. One by one, they walk off the waterfall. At this point, I wanted to burst out screaming, telling them to stop.... but I couldn't.

I once had this dream that i went to this wierd church castle place and i met this creepy old woman who had these really huge henchmen and would cut off the heads of any girls that was prettier than her. When I was about 10 I had a dream that I was drowning in some type of swamp. In real life, I swim very well, but for some reason in the dream I could barely tread water. I was so scared of drowning that when I opened my mouth to yell for help, nothing came out.
Now that I look back, I think it was a combination of being too scared to scream and just not being able to say anything, in that weird dream way.

When I was a little girl I was sleeping over my grandmothers and had this horrifying dream. I woke up [or at least in the dream I did] and these two [maybe three] alien creatures were slowly walking towards me. I was so scared I couldn't scream or move. Everything looked like the real world. Not being able to get my grandmother to wake up was also horrifying, considering she was in the bed right next to mine. I've blocked most of the dream out, thats how horrified I was at the time.

I had a dream when I was six that my mom took me to a boarding school and I had to wear a weird uniform. I didn't want to wear it after trying it on, so my mom went in the stall to get my clothes. She opened the stalls door, and out jumped 2 girl vampires. They tied her up and took her to the main room. They made me watch as the head mistress cut her head off. I was so terrified that when I woke up I ran to make sure my mom still had her head on!

I actually cannot scream in dreams, to my knowledge. Sometimes I can't even talk in dreams. In real life, I cannot force myself to scream, and only on occasions when I am scared out of my wits can I actually scream in real life.
If you walk up to me on the street and asked me to scream, I would be unable to do it. However, if you came up behind me on the street and put your arms around my neck, I would probably scream, and then turn around and punch your face.

When I was about four, I had a dream where I was sitting next to my mom, and I knew something was just off. She started wearing only yellow, and smiling ALL THE TIME. Toward the end of the dream (as I was sitting beside her) she began to morph into this disgusting green oozy man thing. I was absolutely horrified, I just stared, and couldn't do anything else. It took what seemed like forever to wake up, and I didn't go back to sleep.

I once had a verry scary dream... It doesn't sound that bad but in that dream I feared for my life. I was dreaming that I was sitting at the desk with my laptop which suddenly fell on my head... it was too heavy for me so I ended up struggeling with this laptop over my head. I couldn't hold it any longer and suddenly my two best friends appeared... I was begging them to help me and cried for them. my voice sounded terrifying. :( and then I woke up and realized that my bookshelf had fallen on me.

I can't remember anything where I specifically couldn't scream, but I remember a dream where I was stuck in a maze with really high walls and the walls curved in at the top so I could only see a sliver of the sky and it was daytime and I know that I was really far away from people, so if i had screamed, no one could hear me.

I was running through a sort of street where all of it had market stands, carts flying past me filled with fruit and such, and i saw this through eyes, and i was running fast from what i could tell and slwoly the place faded away into my kitchen; still running and the garbage can at the end of the hall's top flew off and a hand came out (the hand was boney and long nails) and i woke up without able to breathe i just couldn't scream. That was one of two dreams that woke me up.

As a kid, I had quite a few scary dreams where I couldn't scream. Not that I was so scared I couldn't scream, but where I was physically incapable of screaming - tried and tried and no sound came out. I always hated those dreams. There were always people around, but because I couldn't make any noise, I couldn't alert them to the fact that I was about to be killed by something or other.

i also find the guys perspective really interesting. even though im a girl and enjoy a good romance as much as the next, it gets really boring, which is why i found the midnight sun extract really interesting.

I once had a dream where I was walking down a road at night, totally pitch black, I could hardly see. But I saw a burning building, and as I approached, I witnessed two phantom creatures fighting. I was in total awe, I just stood there, motionless. But while I was watching, a giant spider crept towards me. I was to terrified I could not scream or run, and as the spider leaped, I woke up.

well, since I was little I really always worried about my grandma couse she is not young and we have the same kin of thoughts in our heads- which made me worry even harder so one time I dreamed that a really huge snake is eating here it was 6 years ago and I still remember how terrified I was, and ever since I am really scared of snakes and can't get close to them.

I had a dream where I was running away with Madeline (as in, the French children book) and her boarding school. We were running away from chickens. I tripped and the chickens ate me...I was four. I swear, that's true, and I was really scared at the time.

when I was little i went to the fair i got on the merry-go-round after it was done my dad was taking to a friend he wasnt paying attention. i was trying to get off the horse but i counldnt i was struggling a man who wore a black hat really scruffy and was really scary came and grabbed me i was so scared i freaked out luckly my dad saw the man and got me!

when i was really young i dreamed I walked into my bedroom and was staring at my bed. My favorite stuffed animal was sitting alone on the bed *well this is weird* so I start walking towards him (my 101 dalmations Rolly dog) and he starts shaking his head slowly back and forth. I tried to scream but my throat closed up and as I tried to run my legs just went limp and the door slammed shut. I sat there just crying and trying 2 scream while he shook his head....I still love that stuff animal too :)

When I was about six, I had a recurring dream where my parents were walking down the sidewalk at night, and they wouldn't wait for me. For some reason, I couldn't walk faster than slow-motion, and I couldn't make any noise but a hoarse whisper.
I also had a recurring dream about (coincidentally) wolves in my basement that wanted to eat me ... I couldn't scream, so I'd just curl up in a ball on the floor and let them bite me. ... Wolves STILL terrify me. :S

In a dream I had my sis was turned into a wolf and grabed me by my legs and dragged my out of my house. There was my mom and dad inside and they couldent hear me when I opened my mouth because all that came out was a squeek

I've been in two situations, in real life, AND in a dream. My dream was really weird though. It was about this books series called City of Bones (Mortal Instruments Series. AMAZING!) and Jace was in there, but he wasn't acting like jace. he was acting like Sebastian and then he starts to go all evil and tries to kill me and then he drags me away and I can't scream. Really awkward. And then in real life, a police officer started stalking us around at the Southlands mall. I got really creeped out.

one time i had a dream that me and my mom and brothers were leaving this pizza place that we used to go to sometimes and like right in front my mom gets shot by this like hooded guy who runs off and i'm like calling for help but nobodies paying attention. i was about six at the time...

OMG so when i had my dream i was ,walking out of the car with my dog and here come all these men and they're chasing me with knives and yelling, "I'm a rape you!" then here pops out bella swan's step-dad, phil. and he kills me with his baseball bat. that's one of the reasons i'm not into twilight anymore lol

I had a dream that I was getting arrested for no apparent reason, and the cops were killing my family right in front of me. It was horrible. then they walked over to me and right before they stabbed me I woke up and I was on the floor of my living room, though I fell asleep in my bed. It was scary. Hasn't happened again though *knock on wood*

My house had three stories, and it was flooding, but I was the only one to notice, I was drowning my laptop died (and stuff), and I was dying from lack of oxygen, then I finally figured out how to let out the water. It was more detailed and much more terrifying. I didn't realize that it was a dream until I jerked awake. *shudders*

Yeah I was selling lemonade with my friend in my front yard and this gothic teenager came up to me and told me that she found my lost dog... which was weird, since I didn't have I dog, and then she grabbed me and I told my friend to help but she just stood there and didn't do anything while I was being dragged away. I couldn't scream or anything and then I woke up as the girl was dragging me into her car. And it's odd cuz this was happening all in my front yard, so my parents could have helped..

a kinda scary situation with a teacher of mine. I came back from a music competittion where I won the first price. I entered my class room... well and she began to critisise me for over an hour, like how she would have never given me this price and so on I didn't say anything and she just talked and talked... I was so hurt and shocked that I couldn't say stop... couldn't fight back... I just was kinda paralysed..

I have had this dream about once a year since I was about three. I'm in a car with Mickey and Minnie mouse, the dream is in black and white, and I'm sitting in the back seat. We stop at a gas station for something, Mickey gets out, and we hear a gunshot. We get out, run inside to see Mickey shot, and with his dying breath he tells Minnie to take me to the big house on the hill to keep me safe. Then, like a movie, the picture flashes to it and lightening strikes.
I'm terrified every time&I'm 20.

OMG YES!!! I used To have This Dreams when I was 12 & 14. One was that I feel from a really tall building, the other that something was chasing me & while I run for my life I coundt scream not even say a word to call for help!!!

here's an answer....ive always had nightmares but ive never woke up scream...never..iv noticed i just open my eyes and not quickly but just open them and my heart is never pounding but i was terrified of it...ive never actually been scared enough to scream i handle things calmly i dont know y i just dont panic...

I usually have the same dream/nightmare every night:
I'm surrounded in a thick black....thing, I guess. Then, I'm falling through it, and right before I hit some sort of ground, I wake up. Gasping.

i dont know why, but i have these unusually strange and horrifying dreams..... its more scary that the SAW movies...... the weird thing is that i actually feel excruciating pain sometimes. i wake up sweating, shakeing and moaning... i dont know why tho.

i have these weird dreams that keep happening every so often. their weird because when i wake up i can never remember what happend in the dream, yet i wake up shaking and screaming at the top of my lungs.

I had a dream where the moon turned red and anyone who looked at it went crazy and tried to eat everyone and somehow I had made it to my school and was hiding in the girls locker room where some other girls where there as well and then the zombie people broke in and tried to eat us but before that happened i woke up!

About two years ago I was walking from the trainstation it was winter and dark outside. To get out from the trainstation you have to walk through a tunnel that goes either right or left. Everyone else took the left one while I takes the right one, cause thats the closest way out for me. So Im walking through the tunnel listening to my iPod when suddenly someone grabs my arm. I jump around and theres this huge black guy holding onto me and says Come with me so we can talk for a bit

He just smirks and continues (still holding onto my arm, even harder now) Cmon I just wanna have a nice conversations with you, you dont even have to say anything, Ill handle everything and Im like "No I dont want to go with you, I just wanna go home now (Note: Its only him and me in that tunnel) Then he starts to drag me into a dark alley of some sorts but I fight back.

I wanted to scream for help or just say anything but my voice was gone. I was in shock and the only thing I could do was stammer no and trying to pull away my arm, but he was so much bigger and stronger than me! And just when I started to think that this is the end, Im going to get raped and killed here, my cell phone started to ring and he is startled or something, but I dont care cause in that little moment he lost his focus, his grip on my arm looses and I can pull my arm away

I just started to run the other way back to where there is people. Where I know Im safe. He didnt follow me. When I know Im safe and stands where a lots of people are I look to see who was ringing and it was my mom wondering if I needed a ride home. And I just started to cry and begged her to come as soon as possible and get me. I told her everything that happened when I was safely in her arms in her car and she started to cry with me and soothing me.

When she asked if I saw his face my mind just got completely blank. I could not remember what he looked like! (he was wearing tanned glasses and a scarf covering his face so I didnt get a good look, other than that he was black and tall and there is a lot of black and tall guys in this world). But we did a registration at the police and they tried to look for him, but didnt find anything. I never meet him again and for that Im glad. I just hope that he didnt find another victim.

But I just cant help but wondering what if my mother hadnt called me in that moment? Would I still be here today? I cant help but wonder, but I try not to think about it. Now I just live in the moment and take each day as it comes. Life is to meaningful to wander around and just think What if?.

I had a dream 7 or 8 years ago that I had to share my bedroom with a terrorist (because my parents didn't know he was a terrorist, of course) and he woke me up in the middle of the night threatening to kill me.
I was creeped out by the whole thing, to say the least.

About a year before 9/11 I started having dreams of seeing a plane crash into a building about once every month. I was standing on a busy street and I see a plane brutally crash into a large tower above me. I always stand yelling and screaming trying to get someone to help, I grab and once I mauled a person trying to get them to pay attention but I just get awkward stares. As if it's not there. It doesn't sound that scary but I always wake screaming. Yeah 9/11 got me bad.
