@LforLuc it depends on your projector.....if its regular projector then yea its ok to use the cables that cum with ur ps3....but if u have a hi-def then u must use hdmi for fun.......thing gets amaizing......i mean really good.....

@stickcreation Just remember, with a projector, you will have to buy a new lamp for it every so many hours (varies by projector). Those can cost a fortune! I was considering buying a projector not long ago, did a lot of research but opted with a large HD TV instead... it was much cheaper in the long run.

yes a good screen will look better and colours will be more accurate and better in different light conditions also..

how ever if ya got a huge room for throw distance and big screen will cost alot...

a white wall will do the job,,, but with a screen you ge the quality you pay for..

I was thinking in buying a blu-ray player, since it seems blu-ray has won the media war, and I haven't been able to find any decent blu-ray player for under $350-$399, but it doesn't make any sense in buying a bluray player if you can get the ps3 for $399, you get the bluray and a videogame console.

the reason its cheaper is because a normal player has better sound quality because if you notice you have to turn your tv up quite high to hear it when you watch movies but not when you play games.
