  • When you move your left hand back and forth and hit keys or notes a octave or more apart is that called "Stride?"

  • Yes that's called stride, more difficult then the basic left hand with boogie woogie(for me it is )but it also add something great to a song :)

  • Thanks freakyhead20, I am not a great keyboard player but that is the way I learned to play certain songs. I quit doing stride even in boogie woogie because a guy asked me, "What is that called?" I did not have a clue and thought it was because I just did not know left hand comp, chords, etc. Thanks again for the info!

  • np! I like to help out everybody :D

  • I love the ring and the watch on your left arm :D

  • the ring on my finger??..ohh nobody ever said that ...thanks :) lol

  • Eeco, you are really steppin' out and steppin' up here with those mixed bass lines. Very professionally & cleanly handled, but always with the true spirit of boogie/blues. Nice...Wish my left hand was that flexible and on time! Workin' at it...

  • Great bass!

  • I love the sound of the bass at 1:55 - it's one of my favourite to play, sounds so good with the tenth but very hard to play for a long time. I wish I had bigger hands! :(

    Cam :)

  • Great! Your playing is so beautifully fluent. This one is different - some "stride" style.

  • i'm all envy ;)

  • That's just a great tune. I love your left hand!!..the stride left hand looks difficult and it is :) Tom

  • Top grade stuff - nice!
