Cell phones can work in flight before 2001, I was able to get connected. Like driving, cell calls from flight get disconnected, but more often. CeeCee left a message first from a seat back phone at 9:47:57, it lasted 45 seconds. Bet she used the seat-back because her cell was not working well. The plane wasn't at cruising altitude...lol. They were probably low enough to pick up a cell tower. I've done it, my mom was a flight attendant and she said that she had cell service a lot of the time while in flight until they got up higher

Cell phones can work in flight before 2001, I was able to get connected. Like driving, cell calls from flight get disconnected, but more often. CeeCee left a message first from a seat back phone at 9:47:57, it lasted 45 seconds. Bet she used the seat-back because her cell was not working well. Use of cell phones was prohibited, not impossible. Speeding is prohibited, do we speed?

cellphone number or ID. Mr.Lyles said his wife's cellphone ID was on the

sounds of a receiver hanging up, so it had to be a landline.

Cell phones are basically radios which connect to a transceiver located on a cell tower. Each tower covers a certain area, or cell, hence the term cell phone. When a phone moves from one cell to another while in use, as in the case when the caller is in a car, the tower "hands off" the call to the next tower. Cell phones have the ability to make phone calls from planes. Its a matter of physics. They tend to have dropped phone calls more often based off of the high speed of traveling. Next time your in a plane text or call in mid flight. The call/text well go through. Problem is don't be surprised if an attendant or passenger gets angry with you. (mostly over fears of interference with instruments used to steady planes) fact is that most cell phones don't mess with these instruments.

No, it's NOT impossible for the twin towers or any other steel structure to collapse from fire. Others have done so before and after. The ability to withstand small plane crashes does not compare to that of contemporary jumbo jets such as the Boeing 767, or the Airbus A380.

@DTD110865 Wrong. From to 1970 to 2002 there have been 22 buildings (classified as 4 story or higher) which have collapsed due to fire. HOWEVER. These buildings were constructed from Concrete, Brick/Masonry, Wood and other. 3 steel structures have collapsed due to fire.. towers 1,2 and 7. Taken from a NIST survey. Published in Fire Protection Engineering Magazine. Do your research before posting.

No, I'm not wrong. The McCormick Building in Chicago collapsed due to a fire in 1966. The Kader Toy Factory in Thailand was destroyed by a fire in 1993. Overpasses that get hit by tanker trucks especially those hauling flammable liquids are always at risk of causing them to collapse by fire.WTC was neither the first nor last steel structure to be destroyed by fire. YOU do your research before posting.

Virtually ALL of the forward freight compartment of the 767 flew out of WTC1.
SO, not only did mohammed attas passport fly out, but about 17 others also.
About 50 pieces of luggage, about 300 articles of clothing, including silk,
paper pads, and the NOSE WHEEL of flight 11 ended up as debris on

ACTUALLY, the parts of the Windsor building BUILT like the WTC collapsed.
The parts built with core concrete encasement of the steel didn't collapse.
The whole tower was demolished and destroyed, because you can't trust
a steel frame that's been burned, even if it's encased in concrete.

The plane at the Pentagon didn't vaporize, dipshit. It shattered into pieces. The molten aluminum of the planes actually dripped from where they crashed into the towers.. The reason there doesn't have to be molten steel is because the steel simply became too weak to stay up. Also where do you get the idea that the firemen saw molten steel?
