On the topic of the trailer we're all watching... I'm kinda glad to see the back of the Liz/Will romance plot. As a female movie fan I am sick of blockbuster movies being ruined by people putting too much 'romantic sub-context' into them (I.e. Transformers 2) to make them 'appeal to women'. It doesn't work. This looks like it could be a good adventure movie, especially seeing as it has Blackbeard as a main baddie, a bit of historical context (however bastardised) is always interesting.

I've come across a lot of people like that, whether it be 'Harry Potter' fans, or Pixar fans (these guys scare me the most *shudders*), or 'Lost' fans... There's some really crazy, sad people with no lives. And they RUIN it for us. I used to tolerate 'Lost' and many of Pixar's films things until I met the people who, in essence, PRAISE them.
