@ProudLiberal110: "respects the feminine"???? What the fuck are you DREAMING about? In the "good old" tibet there was two classes of persons: 1) the ruling monastic class and 2) the rest of the 95% of the tibetan people that the aforementioned ruling monastic class looked at as less than dogs, female or otherwise.
@ProudLiberal110 you do know that in traditional tibetant culture, one woman is married to multiple men. it is the chinese who gave them the idea of one woman/one man.
@eastern2western yeah and in Chinese culture men could have more than one wife and were legally allowed to rape young girls much like in iSSlamofascism which is much worse.
@ProudLiberal110 it is just not in chinese culture. in all cultures, men are allow to have multiple wifes because it is just how things worked. in tibetant buddhism, old monks used young boys as their sex toys. dude no body is perfect. the video is just showing fashion models walking around in different dresses and pull your head out of your ass because it is not 1950s any more.
@ProudLiberal110 your are completely right about chinese culture but that is no longer a popular practice in china. however, the practice of multiple husband per one wife is still accepted in tibet.
US media is the worst. I would prefer European news although they are still bias at least not as too biased as the american one. Americans need to stop watching TV and go travel more if they want to know the world. Most ppl in US blindly watch Hollywood shit and think that the world revolves around America
Fox is good. The reporters are so crazy its a good laugh for a while, until you realise they are serious it gets boring. Sadly we don't get Fox in NZ anymore. I guess it wasn't popular.
I have lived with Tibetans, Chinese and Mongols since 1987. None of you eat babies or faeces; you actually have a lot in common. Yin Yang; 5 elements & Golden Mean; But mostly you don't know each others languages or culture. The European Union is more tolerant of each others differences.
Be a bit more compassionate next time, we should be more open to those "sanjors" and treat them as we would with our own kins...after all they are a part of us.
We have the tendency to treat them with suspicion and remorse. Where is this suspicion and remorse coming from? Is it because the "sanjors" look and sound a bit more aggressive. Understand that when "people" have been pressed down by a power that is greater than them, rights that has been snatched away and to have lived in fear for most of their lives...these people throughout time will behave in the same way that the environment that reared them forced on them.
Also, be kind to those newcomers we come across and I mean the "sanjors" because seeing the interaction between the older exiled Tibetans and the new ones is really sad. We are so filled up with this believe about Tibetans living in Tibet are suffering which is true. And that we are fighting for their rights with all these protest but when faced with someone that is from Tibet, our exile brothers and sisters, elders and young folks....we are so fraudulent.
Whatever it is, the folks living in Exile have to do more than attend protests outside the UN or Chinese embassies, we have to be united, open minded and a bit understanding to those still in Tibet because they live directly under the influence of the PRC. Their life isn't really preplanned like the way we can in free countries, their livelihood depends on how they reciprocate the changes in Modern Tibet.
What is there to do but fight for autonomy in Tibet like H.H is aiming for. Fight against the system of China through education and accepting "some" changes but to always be cautious of China is always the #1 key. Use China for it's booming economics and possibly this is what some Tibetans in Tibet thought they were doing while following through with such follies like this but then again...I live in America, so I can't say for sure what's going on there.
Personally I don't really mind small changes in music, clothes, or women modeling and showing off a bit of their skin. I suppose in every thing that's happened with China occupying Tibet...there have been more bad with environment pollution, imprisonments of those who dare speak out against China's atrocities, and Tibetans robbed of their natural rights. But since China is already there and forcing these changes on Tibetans living in Tibet.
the lady in the middle in white is the hottest an the tallest also most tibetan look alike but den again all r tibetan an they all hot!!woot tib women r hot!!u go girls!!
How is it sad? Law of nature shows that everything is a subject to changes. You think Tibetans will remain the same always? I don't think so. What's important is that Tibetans having the freedom to express themselves.
well tibetan culture was fine before the chinese invaded. they do not have freedom of thought, so freedom to express themselves is only for ones that the chinese government likes.
If making lamp out of serf's skin by lama is fine by you, then you are right at home.
If you are a tibetan, then the sad influence of western propaganda has gotten you sink, line and hooker. Do you even speak tibetan, the supposed tibetan culture defender?
YallMeanMVP, you tell me which nation in their history dosent have one or other form of serfdom or class system, but that dosent give neighbouring countries to poke their long nose in others personal matter. Chinese themselfs have huge class diffrence and slavery, may be then Japanese should "peacefully liberate" China. May be this way you can put yourself in Tibetan peoples shoes. And for the record, I do speak Tibetan, and I am an Tibetan, not Chinese.
All tibetans in India speak Tibetan as opposed to some in Tibet who dont.
Most Tibetans you see in demonstrations are sarjor new arrivals from tibet and that population is increasing so the argument about exiled indian tibetans doesnt hold water any more. From the monks in Sera ganden and dreung in india almost all about 80 % are arrivals from Tibet
why Tibetan in tibet are much better looking than the ones in india?

Tibetan culture is on active display in both in Tibet region and in other parts of China.
Tibetan singers stage concerts and parties on regular basis to spread Tibetan culture to other parts of China's multicultural society.
But western media will not discuss this topic and continue brain washing the public with cold war minded values.
