not saying i love wheelers, i ride a trx450 and some other 4wheeled toys. sold all my dirt-bikes. but if you have felt the nimble force of a quick dirt-bike in your days, it would take alot of effort to TRY to lie and say the 4wheeler was quicker =/

I have a yz 250 2 stroke with reeds, pipe, and silencer, and I hammered the SHIT out of any 450 racing quad, 700 raptor, etc. etc. that I've ever lined up with. even with all the bolt ons like exhaust and airbox mods and crap like that the 450 quads can't touch bikes. It takes alot of money and internal mods to make a 4 stroke 450 quad as fast as the two stroke bikes.......however, I have to say that a stock 125 would struggle to stay ahead of a 450 quad.

Well said. The fact of the matter is, displacement does not trump power to weight. All sport, and racing quad technology comes from bikes. common sense should tell you that the same engine in a machine that weighs half as much, should be much faster. I love quads as much as bikes, but they are not faster. That little 125 would be better suited to race a stock banshee...........and for all you banshee guys about to rip me a new one....I said stock, and yes 450s are faster, stock vs stock.
